AnswersDownload the installation manual from the product web page. The wall switch is a single on/off switch to provide a single 120V AC power line to the fan. The fan has electronics that convert1s the 120V to needed voltages for all fan functions on the remote control. This includes the light/dimming, fan speed/mode, fan direction, on/off for fan and light, sleep timer, etc. A dimmer switch CANNOT be used at the wall since it would reduce the voltage to the fan. A dimmer switch will cause the fan to not operate. Simply replace your current switch with a simple on/off switch. If you have 2 lines of power coming out of the current switch only one of the lines is used with the new switch. Pic of remote control attached to answer.

AnswerHi Mark all you can do now is call HDC Cust service at 1-800-986-3460 and see what they can do, if fans are new would take back and trade for a new one, warranty is 2 years on some parts

I purchased this fan as a replacement fan for our family great room, which is a 26 X 30 foot room. The existing fan came with the house over 22 years ago and it was time for an upgrade. This fan is fantastic, it is esthetically appeasing and the color matches our great room exactly. The operation of the fan is very simple and intuitive through the use of the provided remote control which gives you total control over the fan to include its LED light. On it's lowest speed (9 speeds) it gently moves an immense amount of air making for a very pleasant atmosphere. On it's highest speed it really moves some air and although I've only had it for approximately one month I am sure it's going to come in really handy in during the hotter parts of the year (I purchased this fan in March 2021). This fan totally met my expectations and definitely gave our family great room a much needed upgrade!!!

This fan is amazing. Large, pushes a lot of air, and the best part is the remote. My only negatives... I wish the fan blades were wood looking on both sides. When upstairs you can see the tan color and with this being a 72 inch fan a 3-4 foot extension rod would have been nice. I purchased one separately.

Turns on by itself
I have 4 of these fans professionally installed by an electrician. They turn on by themselves randomly with no rhyme or reason. Quality is poor. Where are all the American made products Home Depot?

Black Kensgrove 72"
My black Kansgrove 72” fan arrived a day early and installing in the home theater room. Easy to assemble and install. Remote came programed right out of box. Led light is super bright and dim is ok. Just wish it would dim all the way down to off. I like the soild state dc motor with comfort breeze feature with 3 different setting! Great fan for the money

72” fan with a 72” down rod
We have a new custom home and needed a large fan for a high vaulted ceiling. This fan is all we could ever want. High output fan thats quiet and looks good too. The remote diplays the fan speed when adjusting speed so you know where it’s set. We have 4 recessed light cans for bright lighting, but the fan’s lifht is perfect for lower-normal lighting levels. Its dimmable too! I’ll be prchasing another one for our covered porch in the spring

Great Fan But...
It's a great fan. It's large and beautiful, and circulates air amazingly. The remote is also really great. However, they could have done much better on the lighting. The lights are not very bright at all, which is disappointing especially for LED.

Bought two of these for our new house. Put one in the family room and one in the master bedroom. Will be buying a third to go on our covered patio before summer arrives. Very easy installation for DIY-ers! Love ALL of the features the remote provides! A solid fan at a good price!
