Listen to everyone else - doesn't blow air I saw a couple of reviews of people saying that this fan doesn't blow air, and I thought that it couldn't possibly be true....but I was definitely wrong. This fan is garbage! You don't feel any air being blown around when you stand under it, even on high. It is average looking, but you can very clearly tell that the blades are plastic. I found it relatively easy to install, pretty standard stuff if you've installed ceiling fans in the past. If you are like me and looking for a low profile fan to install on a shorter ceiling porch (my porch ceiling height is 7'3"), I would recommend that you instead go with the Roanoke Ceiling Fan. At the time of this writing, it was the same price as the Lake George fan, though only available online. It's a 48in instead of 54in, but looks much nicer and does the job! I have $100 on these people that say 'no air flow' - that the rotation is reversed. There is a switch on the fan so it is reversible. My bet is they are drawing air up and out. Turn fan off, toggle the switch, turn fan on. Air should be pushed down now. This fan is good, not great. I have no problems with it other than a broken globe that I still need to replace. I have 2 of these on the patio and happy with the air flow, it is not like standing in front of a floor fan, just like any other ceiling fan.

The blades look cheaper than the picture but were easy to install and work well. We are satisfied with this product for the price. Despite cuts and crushes on the boxes there was no damage to the product(s).

I was actually excited to try a 54 inch fan for the kitchen with the nice big light fixture.Put it up and NO AIR FLOW!!! even on what appears to be the highest setting.both directions to boot.you may feel a slight breeze if you are standing 5 feet away.good thing I was quick to install it due to putting up several over the past few years.Im not familiar with this brand anyway.in the future only get the brands you are familiar with.fan looks great and I lke the blades but huh???it looks like its powerful but in the end very disappointing.and baffled.
