Just what I was looking for to finish updating my home's exterior lights. This was a very close match to much more expensive carriage lights flanking my two garage doors. Living near the beach, time will tell how they weather in the salt air. Overall, very happy with the finished product!

Easy to install. Just the right size for our house. We have one on each side of our front door. The glass seems thick and has some etching (clear) which makes it look like higher prices lights. There is a weep hole in the bottom of the fixture to let any water get out, it might let very small bugs in.

I purchased 2 of these to replace older fixtures. Quick and easy install and they are quite beautiful. Plan to purchase more in the future. Super bright because the globes are clear and look more expensive than they were.

Beautiful lantern. My home exterior garage area looks fabulous with the pair of these Bronze Outdoor Lanterns. I will buy another one and will add the electrical cord to have the entry hanging lantern exactly as the outdoors coach lights. They are beautiful, and very elegant.

Rating wise, a real mixed bag for this product. When finally installed in-place this lantern looks great, however my getting to a "finally installed in-place" was a problem. I purchased two of these to replace my original two patio globe lights which were really outdated, had low wattage requirements, and just plain ugly. Took one lantern out of its box and started to install when I noticed that the glass had cracks in it. Set that one aside and installed the other one ok. Took the lantern with the cracked glass back to Home Depot and exchanged it for another, their last one. Finished installation of this one, stepped back and took a look at both lanterns, and the one I just finished was all cockeyed (compare the two in the photo). This was not due to my installation, but a bad casting of the fixture body. Drove clear across town to a Home Depot that, according to the web site, had this lantern in stock. Installed this lantern; perhaps a bit cockeyed but not nearly as much as the previous one. Ok, installation problems when following the instructions. Perhaps it should have been obvious to me that the entire glass "cage" separated from the fixture body, but it was not and I started the installation with the cage attached to the fixture body which is the way it came out of the box. Be sure to remove the cage from the body first. As opposed to the instructions, before connecting any lantern wiring with the home's wiring perform the step of adjusting the lantern's fixture mounting screws so that they extend 1/4" from the lantern's wall plate. This took quite a bit of extra work for my installations, perhaps because this wall of my home had a "stucco paint coat" installed during some long ago remodeling. I might add that I had to use my old light's bracket mounting screws for one of the two installations because those that came with the new lantern weren't long enough. Ok, on to the wiring. Without three hands, something must support the fixture body while two hands are making the wiring connections. The lanterns' conductors are much too fine to hold a lantern's weight by simply connecting them to the home wiring conductors with wire nuts. The instructions say to tape the wire nut connections and doing this by taping several inches of the home and fixture wires together as well (with at least the first connection) will provide adequate support for the fixture while completing connections. I would not trust only the ground wire connection for support either. Nothing on the lantern's box or in the instructions advises that that LED bulbs can be used. Based upon other reviews I am using non-dimmable daytime LEDs rated at 100 watt equivalent and they work great. This product is a bit of a "risk reward" gamble.

Purchased at a local Home Depot Store. The lantern was very easy to install (I recommend having 2 people handy - one to hold the lantern while the other secures the electrical wires). The quality is excellent - we have extreme temperatures in West Texas and the lantern has held up well. Looks more expensive than it was. The lantern has brightened our back porch and we are very happy with the purchase!

Use these on my Renovation project, the sizes are perfect.

It looks much more beautiful in person than online. Projects a beautiful light design. I used it to replace a safety wall mount light on our deck that was super ugly, old and unpersonable. Now the deck looks complete. I like this lantern because it is closed at the bottom. My light outlet stands really high close to the ceiling and the other open lanterns I tried, you could only see the bulb standing out exposed. This lantern works well if you have that same problem.
