Marsden Patina Wood Finish 6-Drawer Cane Dresser (54 in W. X 36 in H.)

The Home Decorators Collection Marsden Ivory 6-Drawer Cane Dresser is a very nice, neutral, attractive dresser. The 4 bottom drawers are roomy and the top 2 drawers are great for smaller items, like socks, etc. Beware, the dresser comes in 2 boxes. Nothing is put together. It is easy to do, but it is time consuming. My husband spent about 4 hours putting it together. Basic tools were needed and they supplied plenty of extra screws. Always a plus! It is easy to put together and the directions were clear. The end result is worth it. One great plus is the quality drawer glides which were attached. You don't have to worry about putting those on. Overall, it is a quality dresser, has some weight to it and the cane on the drawer fronts adds a unique design element. There were a lot of pieces, but everything was wrapped exceptionally well in foam. One other plus is the drawer hardware. It is a very attractive, 2 piece, pull. I would definitely recommend the Home Decorators Collection Marsden Ivory 6-Drawer Cane Dresser.

Unit was fairly easy to assemble

I had this dresser for two days, my entire house smells like chemicals. I've got charcoal and baking powder in the drawers to try to absorb the off-gassing, but after reading reviews that it continues to off-gas for months, this can't be healthy long term! Also, my husband assembled it and tapped the drawer front with a plastic piece on a screw driver to adjust it, and it took the finish off. Do not buy!

Pleasantly surprised with this dresser. The quality not bad. Don’t expect dovetail details on drawers, but they’re pretty sturdy. Price was right. I put it together relatively quick. I love the hardware on the drawers.

Was worried there was going to be a smell but no issues there. Easy to put togetger. Quality is fine, probably wouldnt have bought at full price if I were to buy again.

Please do no buy this dresser!! It has a very toxic smell that will not go away. I have let it air out in my garage for a few months and the smell is still there. I wasted $800 because I have to get rid of it. The smell gives me headaches.

Do not buy this dresser. I couldn’t unpack it! The smell was so strong it will NEVER fade. The one piece i managed to see looked very sturdy and nice, but it is totally unusable

We have had this dresser assembled for two months now and the smell is as strong as ever. The piece is beautiful. The drawers have been open and a tower fan directed at it - no change in smell. Charcoal bags? No change in smell. It’s in a nursery right now and I’m afraid we’ll have to throw it out and find something else since the smell is so strong and any chemical odor lasting this long is obviously dangerous to infants and adults. Home Depot won’t refund us.

I love the piece it’s perfect for my space , I didn’t realize I had to put it together however it was worth it. Very happy with my purchase
