It’s trouble free and dependable.
I bought this fan five years ago. It’s beautiful. Best part is remote I love it. Three speeds remote lights . The color . Never any problems. I recommend this fan.

Great looking fan. Pushes lots of air.
This is a great looking fan. Pushes loads of air (actually makes me a bit cold, which is a nice surprise). The remote feels a bit cheap but not a huge deal. Works well. The only reason I docked it one star was the installation of the remote receiver unit was ridiculous. It's way larger than it needs to be, and trying to cram that, along with all of the wire into the little mounting unit was much tougher than it should have been. That was by far the hardest part of the install.

Looks nice
The fan itself does look nice. Sleek, modern looking. However, the fan motor is really loud for such a small fan. The remote that comes with it is extremely cheap.the LED lighting is decent.The best thing is the airflow, it can move some air!

My favorite fan at Home Depot
This is the 5th Mewry fan we've purchased over the last few years for two different homes. They come in several different colors, like black, white, or satin nickel, so there should be one that suits many people's needs. The LED light is dimmable using the remote control only (just hold the button down on the remote control and it will cycle through from bright to dim, over and over until you release the button at the desired light level), not via a wall dimmer. The fan is quiet, moves plenty of air, and has a modern look to it. It is easy to install and the instructions are easy to follow. This is my fan of choice at Home Depot. The fan blades, however, are not as pictured. They are more grayish than the pictures on the Home Depot website. The fan blades are not reversible, so there is only one color choice for the blades. The fan direction (winter/summer modes) is adjustable by a switch on the motor housing.

Once it's all wired up and mounted this is a reasonably nice fan. The materials are cheap. Up close the fan blades are a little cheesy, and the metal parts are not terribly robust. It's also a little clumsy to get it put together compared to more expensive fans that I've done. But none of that matters once it's up. It looks surprisingly nice. It's quiet. The light is plenty bright. It moves plenty of air. In the end I'm quite happy with it.
The color of the blades is more gray than brown - not exactly what I expected from the pics, but the fake woodgrain looks nice.

Works, but the humming noise gets annoying
Reviewing after 2.5 years of use. Bought 4 of these for various rooms. Happy with them at first, now want to replace all of them since every one makes this motor humming noise often accompanied by squeaking. Granted, it isn't exceptionally loud, but loud enough in the background that it's noticeable. Great design, so-so remote (3 speeds, light, off/on), they 'work' but the comments about dimmers (will work only with a wall switch, not the remote) are accurate.
