I purchased replacement remotes from Home Depot that match exactly to this model, and the ones I have at home. I cannot figure out hot to get the two brand new remotes I purchased from here to work.
Hello, You need to sync each remote to the receiver that is in the canopy. There are 4 dip switches on the receiver in the canopy. You have to match the 4 dip switches in the battery compartment of the remote to align w/configuration on receiver. Once they match your remotes will work. THX

How to you switch this fan with a remote to winter mode?
There's a swith on top of the van top switch the blades in reverse , the remote can't to that.

Continued: The faulty remote signal receiver needs to be replaced. Problem should be resolved after that.
I have experienced this issue. I have two identical fans, one did this, the other did not. I removed both remote signal receivers and swapped them between fans. The issue followed to the other fan. One of the remote signal receivers seems to be faulty.
I have changed the numbers inside the fan and the remote like 5 times since I bought it now it wont turn off. So annoying to have to do this all of the time.
