Wall Mounted Lamp
Works in the corer of the room - behind entry door. We were looking for a light to brighten up the corner of the room by the side entry door. I didn't have a lot of space for a floor lamp and this is an interesting design as it plugs into an electrical outlet but hangs on a wall and has the ability to easily adjust the height. The majority of the year we will have it at almost maximum height of about 6 feet but during the holidays my wife has a couple decorations in the corner so we can lower the lamp to highlight these.
Overall very happy with the purchase. I reduced the rating by one star because the shade has a small imperfection in it around the lower edge, not sharp enough to cut yourself but noticeable on close examination. I didn't want to go through a return / exchange process so I just rotated that part to the back.

So unique and classy, too!
Such a different style of lighting -- it will work well with our man cave where the entry is a rolling barn door.
The light is designed for ease of use without wiring -- there is a toggle switch on the cord and a plug for an outlet. While the fixture looks like you can adjust the light up and down, it's not an easy change. You must compress a lock on the cord to allow adjustment. The clear shade and included edison bulb work well together. Hope it's not too bright in the hallway/stairwell. We've not installed it yet; gotta finish the drywall first.

Love this unique light
I was attracted to this light the first time I saw it. I love the farm and barn look. It is very easy to install. It is well made and well packaged. It mounts on the wall basically anywhere you want. I love that you can adjust the height of the light by about 3-4 feet. I has a regular plug on the end with a mid cord switch. You do not have to hard wire it. I did mount it on a round wall/ceiling electrical box for stability.

aesthetically pleasing but...
Well-made components, easy assembly/use. We attached scone at 7foot height & with shade/bulb at top of pulley, the 60w Edison bulb provided was way too bright. If you looked at/near light & turned away, you were blinded by the light (like looking directly at sun & turning away). Perhaps hanging higher, if wall height allows; would prevent this from happening? Our wall height prevents us from trying. We did leave that height, plugged into high outlet, utilized the pulley and cord to move the light down lower. With the light to the side, rear of your chair it did allow for reading with nice bright light that wasn’t blinding. However, having the light as sitting level facing you, again blinding! Maybe go with a lower watt bulb? Biggest negative & 3-star rating: the use of an oval cloth cord (not round??) causes it to rub on the edges of the smaller round hole (at thumb screw knob). Therefore, each time you adjust the height by pulling CLOTH cord through round hole it causes the cord to fray. Just the 5 or 6 x’s we played with height level it has already begun to fray. Cord should move easily through the hole since the knob tightens to hold it at height. A smaller diameter cloth cord, round cord, oval hole at thumb screw knob, non-cloth cord… any 1 of these would have eliminated this problem.

Easy install, fun look
This is a very cool and fun light fixture. So easy to install. Does not require a wall box to hookup. A simple bracket installs to any wall and then run the very long cord to an outlet and you’re done. Light is very bright with the totally clear shade so I think a dimmer at the outlet would be a nice addition. Cool pulley gives nice steampunk feel.

A great solution with lots of different uses. I'm using it in a room with no overhead light, but would would also be great next to a bed, by a reading chair, or even as accent lighting. It does look best directly above an outlet, but depending on your use, you could probably use a hook or cord keeper to have the cord appear to go straight down if you want.
The cord itself is a thick, braided finish.
This has a dark metal shade,with gold interior, and came with an Edison bulb, which is great, but with this color's dark shade, it's not really seen. It really gives off a great industrial vibe. The cord has a rocker switch, which I also really liked.
Neat light, with many possible applications.

This has a clear shade, and came with an Edison bulb, which is great, but I might switch it to a bulb that works with my smart home stuff, just to make it even easier to use. The cord has a rocker switch, which I also really liked.
The shade on this color is glass, so just take that into consideration!
I was really dismayed that the warning sticker was predominately place on the main part of the light. I had to use a lot of sticker dissolving product on that, which I thought was a very careless choice.

Great Look Black Industrial Wall Light
We have a very antique/industrial look to out master bedroom. I have a recliner where we read and watch tv. We have a small antique table beside the recliner that is not large enough to hold a lamp nor did we want a floor lamp. This wall light was the perfect solution. It easily mounted to the wall securely and was very easy hang, just put the bottom part in the slot, one screw in the top. Then plug it in the wall and you have a reading light. The Edison light comes with the light and makes a soft light for reading. We like the black finish and it matches our industrial/antique décor. Perfect light
