Q:I’m creating a built in hallway linen closet. I plan to stack 3 (36 length x30 Hx12depth) on top of each other & add in crown molding on top. I will mount them up the wall & to each other. Do you see an issue with stacking?

Terrible product

These are advertisied as 7-10 day delivery. With a lot of phone calli got them in 5 weeks. Several of the cabinets are damages, one we refused, the others we did not see until unwarapping. There are paint runs on the doors, backs splitting apart, doors dont line up, paint chips and marks. I think they were boxed before the paint was dry, there are lines from where the cardboard was against the door. Doors are scratched inside. Excess glue on doors. Unfortunatly only allows one picture i will post reviews with other pictures.

Poor quality control

A lot of the nailing was done wrong and a lot of the boards aren’t square so they all look like a crap or gap on each corner and then there were some hot glue in there for some reason. Not sure why that was there. I assume the hot glue was in an attempt to fix their mistake, but it doesn’t look professional.

Poor craftsmanship, bad customer service

I bought a lot of cupboards this one in particularly had some paint quality issues on the front. Besides the poor craftsmanship and bad cutting hot glue fixes, and a lot of the nails put in wrong. I should’ve never bought this brand because now I have half up on the wall and they’re damaged and I have to repaint them. Contacted customer service they were unable to help me on unable and unwilling to give me a refund or make good on this poor product. and the product supposed to have a one year warranty, pretty pathetic.

defective product

I receive product. None of the corners were flush.. The material seem really cheap. A lot of the staples didn’t go in the right spot. A lot of hot glue was used to cover up mistakes. These are no better than the cheapest cupboards at your box store except their three times the price. I contacted the manufacturer and they said because it was beyond 30 days they couldn’t help me. Despite the product saying it has a one-year warranty, the manufacturer did not want to make you. I would not buy this product.

Poor quality, build hot glue fixes all

This cupboard like many the other ones had the staples shot in wrong and they damage the side panels so instead of throwing it away, they just put hot glue over it and try to cover it. It’s really frustrating when a company tries to cover up Shawty products. I’m sure in the end they’ll make it right but for now I have a broken cupboard and nothing I can do. And I want to be clear about it. They were not damaged in shipping. They’re shipped so well. My problem is that they were assembled wrong and it was purposely covered up. They knowingly did this and now I have an inconvenience and a problem finishing this job.

Broken and covered up

I bought about $7000 worth of cupboards. Haven’t got to putting them up for a few months. Most of them were fine, but a few were damaged. But really upset me is that one that was damaged they hot, glued another piece over it to try to cover it up instead of just sending me a new one. That particular cabinet was almost $700 and it was hot glued over to fix it. Frustrating part as well. I have to buy a few more of these to match and I don’t know what to do because of the quality issues

Must be bad quality control

One of our cabinets had a nail sticking out of the back, no way that happened in shipping. There was damage to both doors, on top and on the face. Some of the staples were coming out and there was some separation of the side panels. I tried calling Ideal cabinets to maybe just get a new set of door because everything else I could take care of and was told I would receive an email to load some pictures, but that email never came. So I just returned the cabinet to Home Depot.

Very good quality cabinets !

These are very solid, practically custom made. Each comes with three shelves. Dimensions are extremely accurate. I installed two next to one another. They fit together like two fingers in a glove. I highly recommend them

Nice looking, Nice matgerials. Poor build

Hung cabinet on wall and when I opened the doors, cabinet fell forward. Plywood back secure on wall – cabinet fell apart. Could be missed QC; might be design flaw. Could be strengthened easily prior to falling apart. HD insisted this cabinet required assembly. I received package and opened it myself – assembled. I explained this four times. Rep had to get in last word, “this item shows assembly is required.” SMH
