AnswerWho cares? Only a wasteful fool would use incandescent bulbs anymore. Any conventional LED bulb will draw less than 10W.

The design of the light is exactly what I was looking for. Upon opening the box however I found the attention to detail was completely missing. Welds were sloppy, lines were not straight oh, the ring at the top and bottom to form the ends of the cage were not flat. In addition to that the joint at the mounting plate at the ceiling where the pole connects was cocked to one side. The design of the bracket that mounts to the fixture box in the ceiling requires the fixture box be flushed or beneath the surface of the drywall. Otherwise you end up with a large gap. I did fix this by flipping the bracket over and that held the light closer to the ceiling. I'm on my second one and still having issues with build quality. The glass itself seems uniform and cut straight but I'm going to have to go back for number 3 to find one where the metal work is square and straight.

I bought three of these as hallway lights for my 9ft ceilings. I was skeptical on how they would look in a hall because I only ever see them as lights over a bar. They actually turned out great because I only used the shortest rod which is 6". The light output is great, and the glass cover feels like good quality. The rods and the part that connects to the rod above the light do have the look and feel of brushed nickel. I knocked off a star because the enclosure where the glass sits looks cheap. It's a wannabe brushed nickel, and I can tell the difference ... but high up I guess no one would stop to notice.

BEAUTIFUL! Placed these above the bar in my house (with plans to teardown the bar top and make an island-like kitchen). I had a master electrician install the lighting since there was nothing above before. I have 60W LED lights and they work like a charm. They make the kitchen and living room POP.
