This is an updated review. This rug was laid down (indoors-living room) on November 1, 2018. The weave is nice and has proven very easy to clean. It is now February 19, 2019, less than four months in use. As the photo shows, the traffic receiving edge has begun to fray. We started noticing this in December. This is an "Indoor/Outdoor" Rug, but we hate to think what it wear like if used outdoors where animals, dirty shoes, boots, etc., would be walking on it. Fortunately, there are three other sides that receive no traffic, so we'll be able to turn it (not easy with furniture to be moved) as it the edge wears. At this price, we would expect better wear.

Wow, this MADE-IN-USA braided rug is absolutely gorgeous and the classic Houndstooth tweed design looks elegant! The quality of this rug is great and the sizing is accurate. It has a good weight (about 32 lbs.) and it is tightly braided. I like that it is reversible and very thick (about 1/2"). The heavy, black thread binding on the black and white cablelock braiding is stitched very well. The classic design is attractive, even though the pattern is not perfect.
I was happy to find that there was no offensive odor as I have encountered with some other rugs. It is made with polypropylene fabric.
Although I had planned on using this on the deck, it is so beautiful that I hesitate to put it outside - at least until it gets a little worn. I am now going to keep it inside so I can enjoy it at any time of the year. It would be perfect under the kitchen table.
It did arrive safely wrapped in heavy plastic, but it is heavy and I wish the packaging would have been a little stronger, as it was torn when it arrived. (Luckily there was no damage to the rug) This rug will probably last for many years. It has a 30-day defect warranty from Colonial Mills.

This is a nice, versatile small area rug. The colors are brilliant. The braiding of the fibers is tight so I think it should last a long time. Also, the border binding is of a heavy gage thread and is stitched tightly indicating to me that should last a good while without unraveling or fraying. Check out the photos showing these features below. Right now we are using it at the entry to our back porch where it is a perfect fit and goes with some of the fabric in our porch furniture. My wife thinks it is a good modern interpretation of braided rugs she recalls from her childhood.

A real quality product here. Keep in mind, it is advertised as a indoor-outdoor rug. It is just that. It is not a soft cushy cotton rug. It is stiff but because of this, it is also very durable and wears well. You can tell it has some plastic in the material but it’s not plastic to the touch. The green color is bright and vivid. On another note, if you use it on a tile, wood or other hard smooth surface, you will need a anti-slide pad or you will be skating across the floor on top of it.

Very Nice! This Home Decorators Collection Indoor/Outdoor Area Rug replaced a very well-used dark area rug on our bare concrete living room floor. The texture and Sadie Sand color brightens up the room, and would coordinate with many decorating styles and colors. It appears to be well-made. While not as soft and smooth as other “indoor” rugs, the heavy texture Houndstooth Tweed looks good and feels OK under bare feet. With no backing, the Indoor/Outdoor Polypropylene should hold up well to the heavy traffic and grandkids' spills, and be easily cleaned. It should also hold up very well if used outdoors. To top it off, this rug is MADE IN THE USA, something we try to look for. Shipping took a little time, but apparently, it came directly from the mill. Packaging was very good. It came in a heavy plastic bag, which was well-wrapped with another 3 layers of heavy plastic, which protected it from moisture and other possible damage in shipping. This kind of attention to detail made the chore of unwrapping it worthwhile. There was 1 little snag (probably created by us while moving furniture) which my wonderful bride was able to quickly fix using a neat little tool (SnagNab-It) made for poking pulls back into sweaters and the like. All the bumps from being rolled up seem to have smoothed out in less than 24 hours. So far, we’re very happy with this rug.

This really looks nice on my covered patio under my patio table. It complements our dark gray stucco walls. It would look nice in a patio seating area too. The product can be hosed off and/or vacuumed to remove dirt. The pattern is interesting, but don't stare at it up close - it can play tricks on your eyes and you can feel dizzy. The rug is constructed well, and weighs about 40 pounds. It is fairly easy for 1 person to move, but heavy enough to stay in place during windy days.
