A:  Hi Sheryl, this is Grace with nuLOOM! Thank you for your inquiry. This rug features a Jute backing, which will not damage wood floors, but which does slip. For safety reasons, we recommend using a non-slip rug pad with any rug that does not already have a non-slip backing, unless you plan to keep the rug securely in place under heavy furniture.

    Coraline Animal Print Is Fun!
    This rug is perfect for our dining room in our 1927 home! It adds a bit of whimsy. The quality is excellent we did not need a rug pad its thick enough and doesn't move as it is under the table. I will be ordering more rugs in 2023! It helps keep the room warmer too.

The feel is almost an outdoor rug; thin and hardy woven material, not plush or soft at all. Very cute. It looked easy to clean. Was packed without edge protection but very tightly and very quick delivery. Delivered 1 week before estimated delivery date and the return process at the store was very easy.
