This rug is so thick and comfortable to stand on, machine washable, and doesn't have a rubber backing but also doesn't slide all over the place. In a previous home I ruined the floor in the bathroom by using a rubber backed bathmat, not knowing it would destroy the vinyl flooring. It is hard to find an affordable bath mat without a rubber backing. I've used towels for years and years, until finally I decided to order this rug when I saw it as a Special Buy of the day. I am really impressed with it. I got the 24x40" which fits in front of my tub fully. The only bad thing is, I have a long bathroom and I wish this was really long so I could always be standing on it! Also, I wish it came in a dark green or brown color. I got the sage, but in my dark cabin bathroom with wood walls, it just looks white and out of place.
My Australian Shepherd also loves laying on it, and I think it would be good as a crate mat since it's machine washable, or just a mat for dogs that don't like normal dog beds like mine

An awesome bathmat that is double sided, and doesn't slip or slide when in place, even on a slick tile floor.
The mat has two sides, one with a little more texture than the other. I prefer the raised 'shag pile' type side, whilst the wife prefers the smoother side. The double sided nature means this mat is thicker and heavier than lesser mats, which helps prevent it moving and makes it very absorbent.
The mat is a good size, even in a compact bathroom. I've included a picture with 3 of my fur babies on it to give you an idea of the size.

This is a good sized bathroom rug and it fits in well in front of the shower. The cotton material is really fluffy and with the little bit of padding that the rug has it is great to step on right out of the shower. The cotton material is absorbent but it also dries out naturally after a few hours.
Even when the rug is reversed it still provides a luxurious place to step after showering. The product care tag shows when the rug is turned over which may bother some people.

Very absorbent. Easy to clean. Machine wash warm with similar colors.You can not feel the floor under this mat. Very well made and luxurious looking. A very welcome addition to my bathroom. My wife loves this bath mat.

This is a great mat to stand on in the bathroom. It feels soft and comfy.
It does not slip about either but can get folded over if one is not careful. It is not problem though, the mat can be used either side up. One side has a sort of blockish pattern to the pile. See pictures.
The tag said to wash before use, but we did not bother.
Do not bleach, tumble dry on low temperature, do not iron (duh).

I love my new Home Decorators Collection bath rug, which is made in India. This rug is the perfect size to use on the floor under a single sink. I am using it in my spare bathroom. This rug is very well made and the quality is excellent. It is also thick and very soft underfoot as well. Because it is reversible it does not have a rubber backing but it does not slip on my ceramic tile bathroom floor. One side has a pebble pattern and the other is more smooth. I like this reversible feature. To wash simply launder in warm water with like colors and tumble dry on low. This is a great product.
