I purchased seven white drift cellular blinds cut to my windows measurements. When they arrived they were cut incorrectly. I had to call Home Depot to complain and they told me to bring all the blinds back to the store and they would reorder them for me. I reordered and finally the sizes were correct when they arrived. After having them for two years routinely cleaning them, every single cellular blind in the separate rooms they are in have blackened. I am not happy with this product.

Ordering the Home Decorators Collection Cellular Shades was a nightmare. I went to the home depot store and bought three shades. I needed a total of 11 for my house, but in the store they only had three that were acceptance lengths. (They cant cut the length, only the width). I order the rest online that were the 60 inch length that I needed. 3 of my shades I wanted to motor because there were too high to lower and move up all the way. The one that I purchased from the store had the correct headrail to attach to the motor. That was for 1 of the three (See pictures below). The other 9 that I ordered online came from a company called Nien. There headrail is a completely different size and the quality of the plastic is cheaper. Not only is it the wrong size, but its almost as if they manufactured them upside down. The part that you pull down is large, bulky, and doesn't have the nice groove like the ones I bought in the store. I called Home Depot and the first person told me that there were two different manufacturers. Later this was denied by other associates. I told them I just wanted the correct ones with the proper headrail so I could use the motor. They sent a replacement, that was the exact same thing. Made by Nien. They told me that I needed to contact Nien, which I did and of course there was nothing they can do, they just manufacture it. I told them I needed the one that is manufactured like in the store and they told me they can only manufacture what Home Depot sends to them. They insisted they were the manufacturer for all Home Decorator Collection shades. Not only that but their hardware is much cheaper than the hardware I got in the store. I didn't want to take down all the blinds, so I left up the Nien shades up for my 6 windows because I didn't want to take them down and return them. They look so weird with the big headrail section at the bottom. I had to return the other two, because they don't work with the motor kit because they are the wrong size. I spent 4-5 hours with Home Depot on the phone trying to explain how they kept sending me an order online that is from a different manufacturer, but the associates didn't understand well, or when they finally did, they knew there was nothing they can do. Please if you are going to order these blinds, only buy them from the store. DO NOT order them online as you will get an inferior product and if you want the motor to raise and lower them, it will not work.

I ordered a 27 in shade and received a 28 5/16 in shade. Very disappointed. It does look like a good product but I needed 27 in. Width.

Super easy install and it looks great. The light filtering is just enough to take the glare of the sun off my face, but not make the room a dungeon.

Great quality cellular shade, allows the perfect amount of light into my sunroom and ample privacy at night! Considering adding these to the front of my house.

Easy to install and look very professional. They let just enough light in so you can get around a dark room but blocks enough where it’s easy to sleep.
