Windward 68 in. Color Changing Integrated LED Indoor/Outdoor Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote Control

Absolutely stunning ceiling fan-- aesthetically and operational wise. Far exceeded all my expectations. Installed this from watching the video description from the Home Depot photos/videos of the product. Install took about 1.5 hrs which included taking down my old ceiling fan. Looks - sleek and very modern with amazing colors (i got the white base and gray fan blades). Operationally - Sturdy, super smooth and quiet are huge points of this fan, not to mention its large, angled fan blades move an incredible volume of air. I seriously can't say enough about this fan-- super impressive. Its addition to the living room really fit the look of modern/coastal I was going for, and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this fan for anyone who's interested in getting it.

Although it looks attractive, the wood color is much lighter than what is displayed on the box & it doesn't fan much air on it's highest setting.

Bought two of these bad boys to push a lot of Texas outdoor Air. So far doing a great job! Install was a breeze and got one remote to work both units. Would buy again!

We have used our Home Decorators Collection Windward 68 in. Color Changing Integrated LED Indoor/Outdoor Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote Control for a week now and wow. This fan pushes air like no fan we have had before with little noise. You can hear how quiet it is in the video. It is exactly what you would expect from a 68" fan. We put it in our son's room, which is a converted garage and has 11' ceilings. It can get quiet hot down there and this is the first fan that actually makes his room comfortable. It actually blew one of his posters off the wall when he had it unnecessarily high. He really likes the ability to change the temperature of the light from a bright white down to a mellow yellow. You could not see the change in the three colors really well in the photo so watch the video for a better idea of the three colors. (Keep in mind color changing does not mean you can get purples and blues and reds.) Changing the light color is instantaneous with the push of the button. The speed is adjusted with up and down arrows and there is a light to help guide you to a favorite position. So while there are nine speeds you can really adjust the speed to anywhere. It is also wonderful you do not have to get on a ladder to change the direction; just click the button on the remote. You can see the direction change in the video. Installation was pretty standard for a fan. No issues there. We did have to buy a down rod for our high ceilings and there was plenty of wire. Our son has zero complaints. It looks great and we have threatened to take it if we ever get a covered outdoor deck. To which he said, "This fan is coming with me when I leave." (Stay tuned for that outcome.) The Home Decorators Collection Windward 68 inch Color Changing Integrated LED Indoor/Outdoor Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote Control is well worth the ticket price. Not only does it have a great build quality and looks nice, but it was easy to assemble and all the features work well. We installed this on our screened-in deck, and it throws a lot of air, but stays quiet enough to hold a conversation.

I was excited to get this fan installed based on the blade size, appearance, and multiple controls. It did not disappoint. My observations: • Install is normal and will take about 30-45 minutes once you get your old fan down. I’m never in a hurry during these installs. Slow and steady and do it right. • The included downrod was a bit short for my angled ceiling so I did buy a longer downrod which is what you see in my photos. • The fan itself was well packaged in the box, with everything included, and in good condition. I could not find any quality issues anywhere on the fan. • The appearance is modern and makes a statement in your room. • No wobble in the fan whatsoever. Mine was balanced perfectly after I installed it. • It’s really quiet. The only thing I hear is wind moving off the blades. I can’t detect any fan motor noise and no hum from the LED light. Very quiet. Thank you! • The remote functions well and is lit up in places so it’s easy to use even in low light situations. It has 9 speed setting which is more than enough. The remote has a timer, light control, and comfort breeze settings which will alternate through pre-programmed speed settings. I wasn’t sure I would like the comfort breeze settings, but I must admit it works nicely. • Airflow. It’s plenty. With 9 settings you will find the amount of airflow that works for you. On the higher settings it produces plenty of air movement. • The light is good and not harsh to your eyes. You have 3 light settings (soft, warm, daylight) which increase in intensity. I like soft lights so the setting I like is included. • The remote did not come with a wall mount. That may be a big deal to some people, to me it is not. Just kind of strange to not include that. I really like this fan. It does everything I wanted and looks great while making no annoying noises. I recommend.

This is just what we needed for our two-story great room. The fan is huge with really long fan blades. It is super-quiet, even at the top speed. It has a lot of extra features, some of which we probably won't use but are nice to have regardless. I had it professionally installed by an independent installer and he told me that in his opinion this was one of the nicer units he had seen. This fan has 9 speeds instead of the usual 3. It has a remote control which is a wonderful thing. The remote allows you to run the fan in one of three presets which will automatically vary the fan speed. I'm not sure why that would be all that useful so for now we're running the fan at a set speed. You can choose to run the fan all the time at any of the 9 speeds. It has an integrated light. The light fixture is low-profile, is LED, and can be set to shine in three different "colors" or temperatures. IOW, it can be warm to daylight. The light can also be dimmed. We found it necessary to dim the light as low as possible because it is so bright. I have attached photos that attempt to show the three colors. Cons: As mentioned, the fan comes with a remote control. The fan can ONLY be controlled via the remote; there are no pull-chains. The unit has only three wires which means you can't control the light separate from the fan itself from a wall switch. For me this is not a major issue but for people who need the light as a primary light source this would be a real drawback. IMO, the light is too bright even at its dimmest setting. The dimming adjustment needs to be able to lower the brightness beyond its lowest setting. Speaking of which, the instructions don't tell you how to dim the light fixture. I had to call the support number to find out that you simply have to press and hold the light button on the remote control to make it continuously dim/brighten the light. I would urge the manufacturer to make that feature clearer in the user manual. This is why I rated the ease of installation a 4 instead of a 5.

Very nice fan. Pretty heavy. Very quiet. The fan remote seems to have 6 speed settings. The light is on/off, but does have 3 warmth (color settings) 2700k, 3000k, 5000k. I installed it outside on a covered deck. It took a while to wire a box. Bringing wire from a box in the attic, running conduit outside to a new ceiling box, and wiring it to a light switch. The light switch is more of an on/off safety switch. The real control is with the remote. The paper work warns against wiring the fan to a variable control light switch. This is a six blade fan and is very stable and quiet. I installed it with the extension rod which makes the lens of the light18.5 inches below the ceiling. The fan can also be installed close to the ceiling without using the extension rod.

Probably the best fan I’ve ever owned even on its lowest setting it feels like you’re in a wind tunnel. Very easy to install very user-friendly nice and quiet but let me tell you when you got it turned all the way up if you get any loose papers laying around you better hide them I would highly recommend this product and ask for Losco top-of-the-line very modern very futuristic

One thing we know a lot about out here in the Valley of the Sun is ceiling fans. Every room of every house has one and for most of the year, they are whirling away keeping the cool, air conditioned air moving throughout the house. This one is terrific. It's plenty big and plenty powerful. The multi-color LED light is an interesting treat, but probably something that you will only use once or twice. We wouldn't consider building a house without a few of these and this is a great choice. If you only need one, take a hard look at this.
