This Wire-Brushed Strand Woven High Density Fiberboard Bamboo Flooring is created for durability and easy to install. It’s great for residential use with its Janka rating of 3,000. An existing home should have a consistent room temperature of 65 -75° F and relative humidity (RH) of 40-55 percent. This flooring is prefinished with a 7-layer aluminum oxide finish that provides protection from everyday wear. It’s also been tested for more than 10,000 volatile organic compounds including formaldehyde. Easily install this flooring using the glueless method above grade, on grade or below grade. Continual deviation from these conditions will affect the dimensions of flooring (see installation guide for more details).

AnswerThank you for your question. This product tends more towards brown, but like with any natural wood or bamboo product there will be natural color variation. The finish is not smooth and slippery but distressed, though it does not have the same waves as a hand-scraped finish.

The manufactures recommendations for underlayment for Concrete Subfloor: Concrete Subfloor: For floating installation, use 6 mil polyethylene film or other means with equivalent permeability, and for Wood Subfloor: Use asphalt-saturated kraft paper or #15 or #30 felt that meets ASTM Standard D4869 or UU-B-790, Grade D. AnswerDear customer, Yes. For bathroom its imperative to keep relative humidity (RH) of 35%-55%. Do NOT leave any amount of liquids (water, juice, soft drinks, spills, etc.) on the floor. Clean any wet spots immediately.

Bamboo flooring
I used this floor on all the bedrooms of our house. I love the color. It looks modern and different . Did not like that there seems to be many areas of the floors that appears scratched up. I understand they are natural wood defects but some of them have a lot of it. Makes the floors look old though they are brand new. But overall I'm happy with the outcome
