Quarter round is typically placed in front of an existing baseboard and covers the expansion gap required with many floors. It covers over the gap between the floor and the wall. It can be put under cabinet toe kicks where wall base won't fit or at the base of stairs to provide a subtle blend between the floor and the wall or vertical surface. Can be cleaned with a damp cloth or soft brush.

Home Legends Elm Walnut
My husband and I ordered the Home Legends Elm Walnut engineered wood flooring from Home Depot and installed it ourselves. It turned out beautifully! I found that I didn't order enough of this quarter round intially and went on-line and ordered it. I had it within a couple of days. This flooring is very easy to install and we couldn't be happier with the results.
