I love the floor; however, we must have received a box that was defected. Parts of our floor started blistering. I sent a message to Home Legend but never heard back from them. Now we have to try and change out the bad part of the floor, which is scattered throughout the room because the floor installer mixes the boxes. We will basically have to replace most of our bedroom floor.

Fabulous!
We chose this flooring as the focal point of our major home renovation project. We absolutely love the floors, they look beautiful and our contractor said they were very easy to work with and there was very little waste. I am thrilled with this purchase!

Amazing durable flooring especially with animals!
This hickory floor far exceeded our expectations. The color is beautiful and the finish is durable! We have 2 dogs and researched for months to decide what the best option would be. We love hardwood but were worried about scratching. The professional installer completed a 362 sq foot room in less than a day and said it was easy to work with. We opted for a glue down and are 100% satisfied with that decision. Quiet to walk on. One issue was the molding suggested on line turned out to be a laminate and not wood and the color was not acceptable. We returned them with no problems. We had our installer make some to match and another issue was shipping, the deliver service wanted to drop of a pallet in front of our house without removing it from the pallet. The driver was more than curtious and worked with us as we were going to refuse shipment if the flooring was not at least removed from the pallet and placed on the porch if they would not deliver inside. which by the way they do not.

Looks great. All boards in each box were good.
I ordered 15 boxes of "Hand Scraped Birch Heritage" by Legend and everyboard in each box was usable. I had no bad boards. This was 1/2" thick Engineered tung/groove wood flooring, HL507P. I originally was planning to glue the floor down, but after reading others talking about getting adhesive on boards and it being hard to clean up, I decided to nail it down. So I rented a pnuematic nailer (Powernail 50P) from Home Depot. Installation went well, back and knees a little sore, but the floor turned out beautiful. My wife likes it so much she wants other areas in the house to have this same floor.

All top marks for this product
I will admit, I was a bit skeptical when we decided to go with engineered hardwood, but being on a slab, it was our best option. Coming out the box, I was not much more impressed, but getting it down, I was totally surprised. This looks, feels and acts just like solid hardwoods. I am extremely impressed (as well as all of my friends who now want to do the same to their floors). We finished the entire project (234 square feet) in less than 12 hours. We lucked out and made a great choice of color, style and quality. All top marks for this product!

Great Product Easy To Install Looks Great
Installed appx 400 sq ft, in Master Bedroom, Closet, and Hall. Looks excellent, easy to install, little waste. My recommendation is to get a Brad Nailer, I used the Freeman PFBC940 4in1 Mini which was online at HD. This lightweight small brad nailer made the job a breeze. My first engineered floor I finished in about 10 hours start to finish. Some progress pix attached.
