AnswersThe stair step end buts up to the flooring and covers the end of the flooring. I would say it it raises about 1/8” the transitions to vinyl. My mother has Dementia and has a hard time getting around but the transition has never bothered her.

Matched the carbonized strand bamboo from LL. Well worth the $5 for a closet transition to tile which was a little higher. I was thrilled to not pay 6 times the price for a 6 ft piece at LL or even at the local HD.

Needed a transition piece between a tile floor and an old oak floor. Color worked very well. Couldn't use a brad nailer but pilot holes and small nails worked fine. Used a brad nailer on original piece and it split the wood.

Perfect detail
I purchased this bamboo molding for the transition from laminate flooring to kitchen linoleum because of the possibility that it might get wet. I am so pleased because it is a perfect match, and much more sturdy than the laminate molding. It was very easy to install... I cut to length and glued in place to retain the flawless finish.
