White Finish Wood Top 61 in. Kitchen Island with Adjustable Shelves, Storage Drawers, Built-in Power Outlets

Nice island, love the soft close doors. Was a little tough to put together but persistence paid off and with adjustments we even got the cupboard doors to line up perfectly. Tons of storage now, which is what I desperately needed. Although the initial shipment included two left drawers and no right drawer, customer service at Homesee was extremely easy to work with and immediately sent the correct parts. A little chip in the black paint required a trip to Home Depot for a sample pot of matte black paint. Only cost about $5, applied with q tip, can’t even tell the chip was ever there now. I will say to maybe consider sealing the top if you will be wiping it down a lot. The finish has a speckled paint look and we’ve managed to wipe away some speckles in sections from prepping on it daily and cleaning for the past month. We plan to replace it with a butcher block top anyway so we weren’t super careful but just a heads up on that. Overall, a great purchase, we love our island, very impressive at such a reasonable price point.

This Cabinet was a big improvement. We ended up using our slab vs what was included in the box. The one included isn’t a true stone but looks really good for what it is. The outlet on the side is very convenient as well

I am finishing my basement and I am adding a kitchenette, so I got this 61" Kitchen Island with Adjustable Shelves to help with storage and provide a seating area. This island ships in two separate boxes and they are both very heavy! I'd recommend having someone help you when trying to lift or move the boxes. I have a heavy duty 2 wheel cart so I was able to move them without much lifting. The instructions are well done and pretty easy to follow. Make sure you keep the Styrofoam pieces labeled #20 because you will use them when assembling the island. They do package some of the screws and hardware together. The very small, fine thread screws are for installing the kitchen cabinets, these are item E in the instructions. Again, the island is pretty heavy, so having a helper to rotate the island upright, or to help especially when putting the countertop on the frame, is recommended. The countertop is HEAVY. The countertop looks nice, almost like quartz, but the feel of the countertop is less than ideal. It has a rough surface when you run your hand across it. An extra layer of glaze or clear finish would really give the countertop a more finished feel and look. I unfortunately have some scratches / gouges on my countertop. The kitchen island is a great size and provides plenty of storage area. There are two large drawers and two large cabinet areas, with each cabinet area providing an adjustable shelf. There are 3 different pre-set shelving locations, so flexibility is limited when adjusting the shelves to store different sized items. The shelves seem strong, but I would be hesitant on storing items that are particularly heavy on the shelves. After assembling the island and drawers, the drawers were very difficult to reconnect to the slide frames. They were so difficult to put back together that I had to jam them in with a decent amount of force. Once in, the drawers operated well. The cabinet doors went in easily, but I am having difficulty lining up the height. Some of my hinges seemed to be slightly twisted or bent, which I think is the issue causing them to not line up perfectly. I spent about 20 minutes adjusting the doors and was unable to get them to line up. I'll have to spend more time working on this. One cool feature, but also not needed in some cases, is the built-in power outlet, USB and USB-C ports. If you are able to run electrical through the bottom of the island, this is a nice feature. I however will not be able to do this since it will be installed over my basement slab, rendering the power outlet inaccessible since I have no way to run power to it. It would be nice if they provided a blank face plate to cover this opening as another option. The finish on the kitchen island itself is very good! I didn't have any issues with scratches, scuffs or dents. The white finish looks really nice with the brushed nickel handles and the shaker style cabinets give the doors and drawers a classic look.

I really wanted to like this island. It's long, narrow and functional on both sides. Theres 2 wide and spacious drawers above 2 equally wide cabinets. The cabinets are deeper than the drawer box, which I think was a missed opportunity. There's a single removable shelf for each cabinet space that can be placed at 1 of 3 available positions using small metal pegs. Given the depth and width of the shelf, I cannot imagine putting heavy items on it without it flexing and snapping. Keep in mind the size of items you plan to store. The countertop looks awesome with gray flecks in an off-white field. It looks really nice with a quartz texture and feel. Lifting it into place was terribly difficult. Putting this whole thing together was terribly difficult. The directions were actually quite clear and very detailed when showing which holes to use in postioning the drawer slides. Assembling the pieces involved more stretching and twisting my body into a pretzel than I ever expected. The drawer slides are awful. They felt like cheap steel and shredded apart like aluminum. I had teeny tiny ball bearing bouncing all around my while trying to get the drawers seated correctly into the slides. I had to buy separate drawer slides to complete the project. Lastly, I can't get the cabinet doors aligned despite tweaking the hinge settings for 20 minutes. I do like the soft close feature though.

Product very nice looking. For an older person, hard to put together. Instructions could be clearer. Needed son to put together for me. Also had small damage on one door, called and told would take 45-90 days to get replacement part. Have it together for a week, ni e addition to my kitchen. Much larger than other islands reviewed.

It is bigger than I pictured. It looks nice in my basement. We have problems keeping the doors flush. We adjusted them a few times but they still don’t fit properly.

Wanted a new top, customer service gave me a credit instead
