You can use any brand of 10w30 oil in your engine.
Yes, 10W30 car oil meets the same standards as the Honda Power Equipment oil. However, the 12 oz. size is more convenient as you do not end up with a partial quart of oil for which you don't have a use. Take good care of your equipment so it can last a long time!
It is not synthetic
The 12 oz will fill the crankcase. Just make sure to check the oil level on the dipstick to ensure it is properly filled. Never hurts to have a 2nd bottle on hand. I hope this answers your question.
The Sae 10 is a thinner oil and will not adhere to lubricate as a 10w-30 motor oil would. I would use the recommended oil by the manufacturer for the engine or application you are using. Thanks
Yes, it exceeds SH or SJ requirements.
Honda mowers have always required regular oil changes. Follow the service interval in the owner's manual. -Robert@Honda
If you'd like but it usually isnt worth the money. This oil is just fine for a season of use in a tool.
