A: Hi Rodd, The AC output for the EU3000iS is 120V 3000W max.(25A) 2800W rated (23.3A). The EU3000iS will be fine for this application since the average home speaker uses between 15 to 30 watts and (generally), TVs use between 50 to 200 watts (W) of electricity, depending on the model.
A: Hi Alvino, Yes, you can use a 3-pronged extension cord, but they do have limitations on what they can power. If you only have occasional need for backup power, and you only want to power the basics, using extension cords is a good option.
