Can you lift out each layer separately or only after you've removed all of the ornaments?

AnswersYou have to remove the items, then lift out the separators, then the layer. If you want added stability, I guess you could glue the compartment to its layer but I am only using one layer for ornaments so that would not work for me.
How big is each space to hold ornaments

I am OCD and proud of it! This box is great, you can use all the levels to put ornaments in, you can take some levels out so you can lay larger items (lights, tinsel) flat with the ornaments safe on the bottom. The box is well designed and sturdy. I love it so much I am probably going to buy another one!

It was past time to put some organization into my Christmas decorations. This box fills the bill. Roomy and easy to carry for storage. Now everything neat, organized, and ready to go next Christmas. I plan to get another box at some point. It would also make a great container for other decor.
