Honeywell Model 2101 Fire and Theft Safe has a spy-proof 4 number combination dial lock which provides a high level of security. This lock is designed to be used in conjunction with the entry key, 2 entry keys are included. The Honeywell 2101 protects contents for 1-hour in a fire of up to 1700 degree F/927 degree C, keeping the internal temperature less than 350 degree F. This Honeywell Fire Safe features a water resistant door and cabinet design. This safe has 2 live and 2 dead steel locking bolts for added security. The interior capacity of the Honeywell 2101 is 0.50 cu. ft. of storage. Perfect size to fit into any area in your home or office. I purchased this combination safe per request of my boss. She's old school and felt combination s...

I purchased this combination safe per request of my boss. She's old school and felt combination safes were more secure than the new electronic keypads (despite me disagreeing). I had hoped it had a way/option to secure it (bolt it) to a hard surface, but you can't. It just has the four rubber feet for setting down on a surface. The safe is heavy....but not so heavy that someone could actually take (steal/walk off with) it. Lastly, I spent 15-20 on trying to open this thing...and no one else had any luck. I don't remember combination locks being this difficult to open (from my high school days). But I'm just going to blame it on user error (me). We had to return it and purchased an electronic keypad safe (like I wanted in the first place).
