The Honeywell Superior Allergen is made of a reinforced pleated media with a large surface area which improves the efficiency of its dust-holding capacity. The unique construction of Honeywell Superior Allergen filter requires less energy for lower energy cost. Its electrostatic charge helps attract particles “magnetically” that otherwise would pass through. Housed in a recyclable clay-coated moisture resistant frame, this filter captures particles as small as 1 micron. In comparison, a human hair is approximately 100 microns in size. The Honeywell Superior Allergen is effective against the following contaminants: dust/lint, airborne dust mite debris, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, bacteria, microscopic allergens, virus carriers and most smoke.

AnswersThere is an arrow on one or more of lthe edges that indicates the air flow. Just aim the arrow in the proper direction (toward the furnace generally), and ur good to go.

AnswersIf you were to compare this to Filtrete it would be slightly smaller. Filtrete is 14.81 x 19.81 x 0.81. Nordic Pure is smaller than the other two being 14.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches.

The Honeywell FPR 7 air filter seems to work best for me. I like the higher FPR rating than the budget ones that I use to buy. I've been using the Honeywell filters for a couple years and I am very pleased with their performance. Although I check them every month, these will last for 90 days (probably longer). So, they are actually cheaper than buying the budget filters that last a month. I highly recommend these filters

I have a unique filter size. I like them because one it cuts down on the dust within my home and I'm in a semi rural area. But with the recent fires we've had I've had to utilize these on a 45-day interval. And I can say they do work.

The card board frame of the filter is paper thin and is too flimsy and makes the filter unusable after 7 days of use. For $20, its no where near the competition

I was waoting on a box of nine hence the price and the waiting for weeks to hace shipped from outta state.... wow i got duped i am seriously going to need to know why we put a mixture of numbers a nd a few capital letters after or even for product titles... thos does not make the products super duper and the latest greAtest... it only puts me out of pocket and i still need the second filter.... first time ever buying and changing filters and its starting to be a real drag , anyways i believe this filter is probably fab if i vould actuLly in real life afford these filters for this actual price! Thanks and i wish everyone a smooth healthly life and style!!
