      A:  I believe it will work. Make sure you use plumbers tape and have a washer that is included on both ends.

I did have to remove the plastic cover that was around the connection to the shower head in order to have it fit in the existing holder i have. Not sure whether it was supposed to be removed or kept on it. But it's working fine right now.
