These have no batteries and run from device power like a standard earbud- a big plus IMO

How comfortable are these if you wear eyeglasses?

Asked by: JerrySee
Not a problem at all, even with heavier safety glasses, the ones we wear all the time, right? However if you're particularly concerned, use something with thicker, cushier pads that will conform to the eyeglass temples better.

Can you talk on your phone with them

Asked by: Truck
Nope. The seals make them too tight. A wired earpiece might work, but its microphone would be exposed to your noisy environment.

They work great for ear protection, although the decibel-limiting made them always seem to be a little bit too low volume. Now, though, the right speaker has gone out. No broken wires, and impedance measures the same for both speakers. With a warranty of ONE YEAR, I get no satisfaction from the company, just the offer that I can send them in at my expense and MAYBE they will decide to repair/replace. If I had wanted plain old earmuffs, I could have spent half as much. The audio option was a big draw, but not so useful now. I just have an expensive pair of left speaker-only earmuffs.

These may have been redesigned since I received mine in 2015, but they work poorly on those with larger heads. Adjusted out all the way, there is still a gap at the bottom. Ordinarily we can live with less sound reduction performance but after using a loud leaf shredder for a period, my ears are still ringing 2 days later! This is a bad sign for my hearing. Ear protectors have to work well when you most need it! Test fit these and be sure they fit tightly all around. Audio input is a nice feature maybe, but not the main purpose!

I liked them so much I bought another pair the next Christmas just to have a backup pair. This time I special ordered a pair for my good friend. He normally wears hearing aids but takes them out while using these. He likes them too. This company makes another version with a radio but I would not buy those due to frequent loss of reception when moving around, such as on a lawn tractor. HD needs to get this model back in the store at Christmas time. Is

My mp3 player worked fine with the music option or the radio option with these headphones. I had decent volume levels of sound while I use the push mower. I wish that the cord was a little thicker , but it works fine and it stays out of the way. I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking to purchase hearing protection.

They drown out the mower noise well and sound fine with music. I didn't want to worry about charging Bluetooth headphones plus these were less than $30.

I can finally keep up with a talk radio conversation while running any of my loud woodshop machinery. I used to use a nice pair of DJ headphones but these definitely do a much better job at canceling out ambient noise. I will say as other reviewers have mentioned that these are not very big and really only work properly when worn directly without any hat, beanie, etc. which is a pain if you're working in the cold or the sun. (I wear a size 7 1/4 hat) I really don't know what they were thinking when they designed these- they are way smaller than my other set of headphones and do have a tendency to produce a headache after wearing for many hours. (which is exacerbated by the fact that I wear glasses) If these had a greater adjustability they would be five stars no question, but their small size is really an achilles' heel. So I love how they work functionally, but the fit is a bit uncomfortable and frustrating after a long day in the shop. If you don't have a giant melon, or are only wearing from time to time, I recommend them, but if you're like me and running loud equipment for hours on end I might look for something more comfortable.. my 2 cents - Mike

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 Stars for Quality & Value Owned for several weeks now. Quality seems to be good. Muffles outside sounds out well. Ive used on my riding lawnmower and around loud tools in the shop. Includes cord to go between your MP3 player and the ear muffs. No sound control on the muff's. Cord could have been a little longer but that is easily replaced since it unplugs at the ear muffs. Good sound quality. Fit & feel is comfortable. Great value!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great at the Beginning Good at the end This headphones are pretty good specially for the price, But they do have a dew setbacks. the Sound quality varies if the volume is too low(less than 10%) its just OK nothing special, However anything over 20% is really good. now I really like the design but the headband should had been just a little bit bigger. I'm sure this will be the biggest problem most people might have with them. Now the best thing about this headphones is the noise cancellation. Without music playing they actually block out about 50 to 60 percent of the background noise. With music playing at a moderate Volume(20 to 25%) they can block out about 70 to 75%. the Noise cancellation comes from the pressure the headphones put in your head as they cover you ears, Which is a good thing.(batteries not Require) But the more you wear them the looser they'll get and the seal on your ears wont be as strong(just remember this will take a long time of use). Now it will depend how often you're going to use them and for how long. Personally I think this are a really good pair of headphones specially for the price.
