This rotary wall-mount control features whisper quiet fan speed control in LO, MD and HI settings. Rated for 2.0 amps, this control installs in a 2-wire single-box wall switch. A wall plate is included.

    A:  This depends on your fan. If it does not have pull chains then it can only be operated with the included control and can not use any other remote or wall control except the included one. If it does have pull chains then it can be operated using this wall control or you can replace the remote with any hunter accessory remote control. ~Kevin

      A:  According to Hunter: accessory wall control model (22691) is designed for Hunter Original models only. They have a website, contact them and ask which wall control will work with your particular fan model.

        A:  I believe this speed control is specifically designed for the premium "Original" Hunter fan line. These are the super heavy duty cast iron models. This speed control is designed to work with only the Original model fans that have a reverse switch.

              This has the logo on it, just like the one that comes with the fan. It’s not blank as pictured. So if you have this fan, you’re stuck with the ugly control knob. The fan speed is way too high at 3, so control knob is necessary.

                Ok, switch. doesn't come with cover.
                Didn't come with wall plate/cover. Works fine, but now I have to order a custome plate. Be sure to set the speed to max at fan. Switch justs slows down fan. i.e., if you have your fan on slow, the switch will allow you to make it slower, so set fan to max at fan. Mounting screws are not the same as a normal plate. You can't just mod an exiting plate

                This is the proper speed control for a Hunter Original ceiling fan ( the heavy duty cast iron models- if your Hunter fan isn't REAL heavy or the motor doesn't fill the entire housing- It isn't an Original) , but only the newer ones that are reversible. If your fan does not have the small switch that reverses the blades, this speed control will not work. The settings (fan speeds at lo, med and hi) are not exactly the same as the pull chain switch in the fan but they are very close on my fan. Works well.
