When is a remote not a remote?
The text identified the fan as having a "remote" and I specifically looked for one with that key feature. The problem is it is sent under separate packaging and you have to INSTALL the receiver (in our case at the ceiling about 12-15 ft up. Since this was a replacement for an existing Hunter Fan, we felt misled and very angry that it did not pre-set for remote like the one we replaced. I call BS.

List of parts is misleading, poor threads
Don't get concerned if your inventory of the parts doesn't match the list. Some parts are NOT in the bag, but used in shipping. For example, you will only find 5 of the 10 bolts needed to mount the blades, but later will see that 5 are used to hold shipping blocks to the motor.
The machining of the pipe threads were poorly done and made it hard to screw in the down rod. Be careful, it wants to cross thread.
