Hello, unfortunately, we do not test our products on other manufactures' ceiling fans. You would need to reach out to Hampton Bay for compatibility. ~Stacy
Bought it a few weeks back. If you fan has exactly same remote, then it will work fine. Mine was a much older fan so I had to install the control module in fan housing. It requires some knowledge of electrical wiring and follow instructions. It comes with all you will need for the fan controls. Batteries were in remote also.
Hello, yes you can use 1 remote to control two fans. Each fan would need to have its own receiver installed into the fan. ~Stacy
This remote does not change fan direction. That is done by the small switch located on the side of your ceiling fan motor just below the blades.
I am not familiar with the Haskell model fan. This remote works only with fans that have a pull chain set up with a reverse switch on the fan itself to change fan direction. Fully remote fans need a specific receiver to be able to do all functions. Hope this helps!
Hello, unfortunately, you cannot add longer blades to your fan. ~Stacy
Hello, we do offer videos on our website and our youtube channel, that will help you with your install. ~Stacy
It should slide quite easily above the bracket that attacked to the ceiling and the ceiling fan hangs from not in the actual decorative dome.
This product comes with two items (remote control and a small receiver box). The receiver box fits up in the bell housing just above the down rod cradle. As long as the power source to the fan is always hot (just leave the wall switch or dimmer switch on if you have one that controls the fan) this should work. Steps to install (see the simple instructions that comes with the product): 1) turn off electrical power to fan, 2) lower the bell housing up at ceiling, 3) slide receiver box up into the space just above the down rod cradle, 4) follow the wiring diagram that is provided, 5) re-attach the bell housing Hope that helps.....
Ours came with a remote but some do not. You have to carefully read what the listing shows. Our enclosed remote dims the lights and changes the fan speed too. We bought a separate remote at Lowe's that we like better than the one that was included. Additional cost, of course.
