    This does have instructions for wiring. However, it is only for completing the connection to the fan and does not need to be used. The actual wall control is not powered by the wiring and requires a battery to function. I can confirm that this can be used in conjunction with a handheld remote. ~Kevin

    Unfortunately, since this is a wireless wall control it does require batteries. We do not offer a version of this that is hardwired. ~Kevin

    We can only guarantee remote compatibility with a Hunter receiver and fan. This may work with other receivers and brand fans. However, we can not recommend this as other companies may use a different software that might be incompatible. ~Kevin

    This product is compatible with any fan, although it may not work with the hand held remote also. Essentially, it places the remote in the mounting JB and the wall plate controls it from there. I used this with a light/fan in a vaulted ceiling to control fan and lights separately, since it wasn’t originally wired with 3 conductor. The fan that I installed it with is not Hunter.

    It arrived on time and works great. The only thing I would change is the battery placement. I have an older model that you can change the button battery from the front. This one takes AA batteries and you would have to unscrew the front panel to get to them. Hoping that won't be for awhile.

    For google "easy" installation hunter 99375
    So I have a hunter fan that already has a remote control, most people will say this product will not work. Well it does! Most ceiling fans are wired for pull chain operation. If you install a remote fan that leaves you with the remote only or switch being wired where the switch must be on for the remote to work. Solution this product. This switch installs just like a normal switch, now the part that they say can't be done. Pairing the wall switch to the receiver already built into the fan. Since there is pass through power to the fan you must turn the power off at the breaker panel turn back on and within 3 minutes hold the light and the fan buttons simultaneously until the fan beeps. And your done. Remote and wall controls should all be functional. YOUR WELCOME!

    Work great! Perfect for places where someone is going to lose the remote! Installs right on the wall. Easy to control light, fan, on/off, high/low. Operates fan or light independently.
