Patriot 4400 4-Burner Propane Gas Grill in Black with Side Burner

I spent a lot of time researching grills and thought this Patriot 4400 was going to be a good value while on sale. I expected the same quality as the broil king line which has been highly regarded, even to compete with the Weber brand. i ordered through Home depot.com and had it delivered to my home. The grill arrived and I started assembly. From previous reviews, I knew the instructions were lacking clarity and that was the case. I assembled the grill in @ 3 hours. After assembly I discovered multiple quality issues including: The grill top/hood had multiple imperfections in the finish including multiple raised bumps and one dent. Multiple places where the coating was missing from the underside of the hood. Both side tables pulled away when any weight was placed on the shelves. I had to add screws to secure. The front stainless panel came with a dent. The warming rack had multiple places where the ceramic coating was missing. I spent less money on a nexgrill that lasted almost 7 years that had none of these issues. I was expecting more from a made in north america grill. I contacted Homedept.com and Huntington (onward mfg.) to address the issues. Homedepot.com has yet to respond and huntington (onward) told me to coat the parts with missing coating with olive oil to stop possible rusting? How about replacing parts that obviously came defective? I would expect much more for the money I spent. It is now over $100 more expensive after the sale. Works ok, although now I'm having grease running down the side of the grill instead of into the grease pan.? Disappointed in the quality and after sale service. I may try and return through Home depot.com

Plenty of flare ups, and the sheet metal was bent on delivery, took a lot of chiseling and hammering to re-align it so the pieces fit together. Overall good grill though.

Some parts don't fit properly--had to improvise Instructions contained diagrams which were essentially illegible

Good product that seems very sturdy. Fires right up. Thought it had an aluminum cook box, but it doesn't. Also, came damaged after being put together by Home Depot. Still not satisfied with the amount given to defray the large dent in the front of the control panel.

There was some minor scrapes when the unit was opened. One broken piece had to be replaced. Putting it together was not to bad but some holes were to small for the screws. Sturdy when complete. I like the way it cooks. No problems.

I replaced my old Weber with it. Its every bit as good as the weber. It's also made in the USA

This grill was easy to assemble and cooks everything evenly and quickly-also MADE IN USA.
