Hello, You are correct, the diagram is misleading. While using an in-line extension is not recommended it is sometimes required.
can't see where that is necessary. I do release the settings zero after use. also, I test the wrench on a heavier duty bolt prior to use.
It’s 24” long
Hey Bill, Each box comes with an individual certification. Thanks!
Yes it does.
NO! It is designed to be gripped by the rubber portion of the handle only. If you need to use a cheater bar, you need a bigger torque wrench.
At the bottom of the wrench, there is a nurled knob. One loosens that to adjust and then tightens down on it to lock whatever weight you have picked. Additionally, remember it is suggested to release the torque settings after use.
Hey Ratchetconfused, This product is a 3/8 breaker bar, not a 1/2 in. ratchet. Thanks!
It has both scales on it.
Torque wrenches are for tightening, not loosening bolts or screws. A socket with a break-over bar, etc. would be better removing bolts and screws. Can't imagine an impact wrench would be a suitable tool, but a hammer drill might work well.
