This is a must-have.
Every so often, I end up needing a short extension. It usually happens when I need a deep socket to get at a nut on a longer bolt that is resesed or in an spot where I can't swing a ratchet. A standard 6" extension will have the ratchet hitting something gefor the nut is all the way off. That is when this 3" extension is indispensable.
This extension is well built, and the ball gives you a secure grip on the socket. Ratchets and breaker bars fit the extension securely. You don't have to worry about the socket or extension comming lose. The fact that is has a great finish is a bonus!

Self-destructed first time I used it.
I ordered the 3/8in Husky Flex-Shaft Extension Bar to help get better leverage on some stiff spark plugs. While it was able to reach the plugs, the moment I put torque onto the plugs to remove them, the shaft bent in a permanent way. Broke the first time I tried to use it. There's a lifetime warranty, but I have no idea what I'm going to use this worthless thing for since it can't provide ANY torque without destroying itself.

The Husky ½” Drive 3” Extension Bar was the perfect choice to replace my misplaced short ½” extension. The Husky Extension is solid, and the finish is shiny and perfect. The fit is precise and that little ball lets me attach and remove sockets with little effort while holding the socket firmly in place during use. With my new extension, Husky ½” deep sockets, breaker bar, and ratchet I’m ready for anything. This handy ½” Drive 3” Extension Bar by Husky is definitely well made and comes with a lifetime warranty. I just don’t see this extension failing. If I don’t lose this one, it should last me forever.

The fit and finish on this extension is excellent, as good if not better than tools costing 3 times as much. It is 6 inches long, which is a handy length. The retaining pin holds sockets securely yet releases easily. I have several Husky hand tools in my tool box, and they are all very good quality, and I expect to add more Husky tools in the future.

This is a good length extension bar for those hard to reach areas. Especially in my situation when working on push lawnmowers, where the extension gives me the better ability to reach in and have full turning capability. It works great with my 1/4 socket set from craftsman that only comes with a 1 1/2 inch extension bar. Now, the only difference that I see from the HomeDepot image and what I was shipped is that my does not have that knurled neck portion. It is completely smooth instead. See Pic. Also it is only stamped as Husky 6" on the extension bar.
Otherwise works great for my lawnmower repairs that I do on my and my neighbors machine, plus where else when I need that longer reach.
Yes, made in China, and has the Husky forever guarantee. What more can you ask for.

Yes it served the purpose. It won't bend quite 90 degrees but it bent enough to do the job. I had to undo hose clamps on my boat outdrive.

Good quality and excellent value ... The Husky ¼-inch drive, 6-inch extension is made in China, and is up to the good quality I expect from Husky tools. It is nicely coated Cr-V Steel, and ratchets and sockets fit nicely. It sells at a good price and has a “Guaranteed Forever” warranty.
I wish I had this extension when redoing an upper intake manifold gasket last year where I had to remove many hard to reach hose clamps. A ¼-inch set (socket, extension and ratchet) would have proved easier than the much larger and heavier 3/8” tools. This is a nice addition to my not large collection of ¼”-inch drive tools.

Enables full rotation, but does not get everywere
This flexible shaft almost bends 90 degrees, but the depth requirement (length before the bend) will not allow you to use this flex shaft to reach hard to reach places. The main benefit of this flex shaft vs a standard shaft is the ability to move the ratchet handle out of the way of obstacles enabling a full range of ratchet motions vs having the ratchet handle hit on something. This comes in handy for car repair which is where I've found this flex ratchet the most useful. When you're under a car, you don't want to be limited to an 1/8 turn on your ratchet. This flex shaft enables you to move the ratchet around to get a full rotation. Unfortunately, the length before the bend does prevent the use of this shaft in hard to reach places.
