1-5/8 in. Quick Change PEX/Flexible Tubing Cutter

I really like these cutters. I was cutting pex line to re-pipe a house. These tubing cutters definitely do the job and makes very clean cuts. And to me that’s the most important thing It makes clean cuts, and they are straight. It is very sharp, so I had to be careful with it because I did get myself with it, but it wasn’t anything crazy. One of the cool things I really like about it is how the blade can be changed. I just had to hold down a button and it slides out, and I could even flip it over to use the other end once one side gets dull. They’re also pretty compact and slim. The locking mechanism on it holds it pretty good and I like that because you can carry it in your pocket and feel safe. Definitely going to get another pair for the guys that help me but I’m very happy with them

I got this PEX / Flexible Tubing cutter and it works really well. I like that the blade is easily replaced and can be removed, flipped, and possibly even sharpened. This is an improvement on their older design by a long shot. The locking mechanism still isn't quite ideal, but it is better than their old model which would get in the way too easily. This is definitely the way to go for your next cutter.

Cuts up to 1 inch of PEX piping and also 3/4" of PVC/ CPVC/ABS Also cuts up to 1-5/8" in OD flexible tubing. there is a quick change blade mechanism and this tool includes one blade. Husky brand tools carry a lifetime warranty from the Home Depot. The tool feels substantial made of a heavy gauge metal for firmness and durability. Long term use for many plumbing projects.

This is a quality pvc and flexible pipe cutter. Husky did a job with the cutting mechanism being smooth and easy to perform repetitive cuts. The handle is easy to hold and is comfortable in the hand. Only downside of the handle is that it is a solid metal construction. It would have been nice for some reason rubber overmodeling but definitely not a deal breaker that it isn’t there. Cut quality is great as the blade leaves a clean cut and does not mash the flexible pipe or crack the pvc. The blade can be rotated in the cutter for extended use and removing the blade is as easy as pushing a button. The cutter is easy to store also and has a latch in the bottom of the handle so to the blade can be covered when not in use. Another bonus to this cutter is the lifetime warranty offered by Husky. Overall an excellent option.

This thing is sweet! I was expecting to really have to squeeze with both hands to get my 3/4 pex a to cut but it went through like butter with one hand and a half squeeze . The round base keeps the tube centered in the cutters and provides a nice level cut with very little effort. I didn’t have any crooked cuts that needed to recut to make my fittings work. Nice sharp and sturdy blade with Super easy single-button blade change out made replacing the blade easy. The locking mechanism took a few tries to get comfortable with but it’s easy now. The lock does keep the blade securely closed. Would not want to accidentally reach into a tool bag and catch that blade. Price is right. Great quality. Easy cuts. 5 stars.

I needed a decent pair of cutters for 1/2" & 3/4" pex B. So I read through reviews and chose this one, lots of positive reviews. I get home & the first thing I do is try them out. First cut crooked as you can get, second cut crooked, third cut crooked, are you starting to see a pattern here? These things are SERIOUSLY sloppy, no wonder they cut crooked! Imagine if you loosened the hinge screw on a pair of scissors they would be really sloppy, that's what I mean. Took them right back & figured I'd try the Milwaukee for twice the price, worked fine! Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a decent pair!

The quick change feature seems like it's a great idea, but the screw holding it in eventually loosened itself out and now it's just all loose feeling . Construction of it overall is very durable and pretty comfortable to use. I would stick with the classic husky cutters simply because they would last longer.
