A:  I’d place it on a shelf that’s fastened into studs ONLY. This product only weighs about 30 lbs but it vibrates quite a bit so you’ll want to ensure the shelf doesn’t come loose. I’d also remove the black pouch on the back and secure the framework of the compressor to the wall via conduit straps( either firecyly into studs or a piece of wood screwed into the studs.

Ive been looking for a really quiet small compressor i can run in the basement that doesn’t shake the whole house. One I could run that no one would know it was running from upstairs. This one really fit the bill. It’s quiet, like a low hum and you can’t tell it’s a compressor from upstairs. With that said the first one I bought was a lemon. When I took it out of the box and I was setting it up I could hear metal particles or beads inside the 1 gallon tank. I tried to shake them out and got about half. Then I fired up the compressor and after it aired up the motor stopped and I could hear that there were fittings that were leaking. I didn’t try to troubleshoot it or fix it I just put it right back in the box and brought it back the next day. I returned it and got another one. That one works perfectly. There were no metal pieces inside the tank. It did not leak at all. It runs really quiet and I paired it to a 11 gallon portable tank that really extends the capabilities of this little guy. Very happy. I mostly use it for compressed air blowing out things I’m cleanig.

very quite and strong enough to run nail guns
Well today I bought both the Husky and the Ryobi 1 gallon I tested them both, I was very impressed with Husky all though I like that I could go anywhere with Ryobi it still did not make up for how quiet this unit is and the additional PSI‘s that it provides. The Decible test ran never went above 62 even when it ran for the first 10 minutes on empty. Once the initial 10 minute break in session I tested and ran the 23 gauge pin I was able to fire off 25 consecutive drives measured at 90 psi‘s before the unit kicked on and only took 45 seconds to refill the never lost power. This unit is super quiet and perfect if you work indoor and late. If you’d like the review please make sure to hit that like button appreciate it thank you.

                99$ portable compressor
For 99$ this is a well made compressor, it is only one gallon so I jump it to a 5 gallon air tank with one input and 2 outputs to run 2 brad nailer pprobably absolutely not recommended by the manufacturer but it really improves how many brad nails you can drive before it kicks on

I never thought it would take so long to do this review. First of all, if you send a product to be reviewed, you should send ALL parts needed to actually be able to DO the review. No hose or attachments are included, which I didn't know till I received the item. This is the only reason I gave it a 4 star rating. Then, I had to order the necessary parts online which I needed to actually USE this machine. It took a month to receive them. Once I got everything needed, I set about the task of figuring out how to use this. There is very good manual that comes with it and it has a quick start up page that shows the 8 steps with pictures so you can easily understand what to do. Since I never had a compressor before, it was extremely helpful and easily understood. I am including the photo of it in my review, a close up of the machine, and a photo of the hose and gun. This is a great compressor for my needs. I do small woodworking projects and I simply need to blow away dirt, paint chips, or sawdust from refurbishing bird houses, bird feeders, concrete bird baths etc. before repainting. I am sick of buying canned air. I think the unit is too small to do any larger jobs like spray painting your house, but could be used for air brushing. We did not try to use it for pumping up a tire or anything like that, so don't know how it would work for those circumstances. I really liked how well it worked and how easy it was to use.

My old air compressor final shook itself apart, so it was time to get a new one. My old one could only inflate tires, pool floats, etc., so I decided to get a better one that was actually a real tool. I got this Husky because I love the brand and have always been very happy with the quality of their tools. This compressor just feels well-made because it's so heavy, and it is well-made. I still have only used it for inflation of tires and pool floats, but it's nice to know that I can run light-duty air tools with it if I choose. I've always wanted a light-duty nail gun, and this compressor is the prefect size. It has a nice cushioned handle that's perfectly balanced and placed, the controls are logical and the gauges are easy to read, and the main knob is large enough that you can manipulate it with gloves on, a nice touch. It has a 3 year warranty, so you can rest assured it's a quality item. I also like the accessory bag, which is really handy for air nozzles, etc., but can be easily removed without tools if desired. Includes well-written instructions, which are appreciated because proper maintenance is required for air compressors to last a long time. A well-designed, well-made light duty air compressor. I look forward to using it for many years.

I am really impressed with the quality of this compressor. All of the material is high quality and should last for many years. One example: the hose from the pistons to the tank is braided stainless steel. Yes it is a smaller compressor and won't run big air tools but it is perfect for home or small shop use. I have several small air tools such as a brad nailer, and it runs it fine. It airs the up fairly quickly but it is only one gallon so empties quickly. It has two cylinders which is impressive. The thing that will amaze you when you first turn it on is how quiet it is. You can actually talk with someone while it is running. Overall this is a very high quality nice compressor. Airs up tires quickly also.

For those interested in the country of origin, this product was manufactured in CHINA. Quick connect is cumbersome, needed a longer rigid connected to get connected. Product is light-weight and so is the power produced. But worth it for small projects and DIYers. Initial startup to full pressure takes 1 min 40 sec before unit shuts down. Connected to nailer/stapler using nails 1 1/2" brads shot 25 into block repetitively. Pressure decreased to 75 PSI, unit started after 7 brads and kept pressure at 75 PSI. Using staples 1" shot 25 into block repetitively. Pressure decreased to 75 PSI, unit started after 7 staples and kept pressure at 75 PSI. This was not auto-shooting, but manual shooting one at a time. Connected to full head framing nailer using 3 1/2" nails. Same test of 25 nails into block and unit pressure dropped quickly after 3 nails, PSI dropped to 50 , unit started after 3 nails. Found that had to go slowly and let unit re-pressure or nails would not go completely into wood. Was acceptable nailing if you took time between nails.

I am truly amazed at how quiet this compressor is. Compared to my old pancake compressor it is night and day difference. I downloaded a free app from NIOSH to test the sound levels and this one comes in at between 70 an 75 decibels. That is roughly the same as my vacuum cleaner. I also tested it at 8 feet the noise level drops to right at 70 decibels. In comparing to my other compressor which came in at 95 decibels. With the decibel scale being logarithmic, this means the Husky compressor is 100 time quieter. In terms of performance, I like the small tank design and works great for my needs. I am a hobby wood worker, using mostly finish nails. No need for a huge tank and lots of airflow. I can set this one right next to me on the bench it does everything I need. The screen shots are: -75db right next to the compressor -71db is 8 feet away -95db is my old compressor for comparison

This surprisingly light one gallon air compressor is as quiet as advertised. It comes with a nice tool pouch that attaches to the frame of the compressor. Set up was very easy. There is a recommended break-in period of 10 minutes. Another nice feature is there are hooks built into the frame where you can stow the power cord. . The compressor is a good value.

This is the quietest compressor I have ever owned. I love the fact that has two Pistons. This should give an additional life. But most of all is very efficient and works very well.
