These are nice stackable storage totes. When stacking the weight is put on the outside structure of the tote so the container doesn't collapse.
Each of these pictured has 40 lbs. of equipment.

This storage box is perfect for organizing battery operated tools. I was able to label the box easily with permanent markers. Since I purchased several boxes I was able to stack them easily on my garage shelves. The material is extremely sturdy. Price was excellent.

I have been using 10-galon Rubbermaid Roughnecks for years for a variety of things and appreciate that they stack, although I have found the lids to be the weak point and deteriorate way too early. At any rate, Home Depot had become the only place left where I could find the 10-gallon Roughnecks and now those have been replaced by the Husky, which is a brand/company owned by HD. Well I would not consider them stackable as the lid cavity is either â…› inch too small or the bottom of the tote is â…› inch too large. Thus they are not perfectly stackable. And thus, when stacking my garden compost/potting soil/mulch etc., which is very heavy, I think the lids will deteriorate faster than they would if they stacked perfectly. They do look sturdier than the Roughnecks which can buckle and split under the amount of weight I fill them with. But only time will tell if they are indeed sturdier in spite of the miscalculated stacking specs. So for the time being I cannot recommend them.

I had been looking for totes to close up my camper for the winter and checked around the other stores.
The Husky Storage Tote has thicker material and is sturdier than I have seen on other national and store brands. The lid on the 18 and 10 gallon is the same and they stack perfectly. The 3 gallon tote will fit two sideways on top of either the 18 or 10 gallon totes. Solid built in handles that carry the weight without flexing. Tight fitting lids that catch on the lip of the tote.
