Questions & Answers

If I do not own a compressor where can I fill this tank up fast? Would home Depot fill it up for me?

Asked by: Panasalsa
If you must fill at a service station and purchase fuel at the same time air should be free.ask the attendant for a coin to activate machine

Takes to long to fill up motorcycle tires, problems somewhere?

I bought this 6 months ago, and used it one time. Had it full at 120psi in the tank, and it took almost 60 seconds to get 2 psi in a motorcycle tire. Is there a problem with the valve not opening fully?
Asked by: Joel83
The valve to shut off the tank is a poor design. One thing I noticed is the plastic piece attached to the valve is easy to strip and then opening and closing is a problem. I finally broke off the plastic and used plyers to open and close the valve.

I want to use this to blow out filters, and need at least minute or two of air at 100 psi. How long will this tank take to empty? In other words, how long can it work to blow out filters?
Asked by: Scooter
Not long enough at the pressure you require without an air compressor attached.

Can you/How do you remove the schrader valve?

I would like to put a different type of fill valve.
Asked by: Buck
A standard valve core remover will work just fine. Any auto store will have one.
