The Husky 10 oz Heavy-Duty caulk gun is an excellent caulking gun. The no-drip feature works very well by reversing the direction of the plunger when the trigger is released. The trigger can also be adjusted for thicker compounds thereby providing more leverage on the trigger and less stress to the hand. I give this caulk gun 4-1/2 stars. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars is that one of the caulking materials I am using is very thin and runny and the no-drip feature was only partly effective. The no-drip feature and adjustable trigger worked very well with the thicker compounds I am also using.

I obtained this Husky caulk gun so that I could use the large (29 ounce) tubes of concrete sealant. The caulking gun is very easy to use and has everything that you might want in a caulk gun. I was able to empty an entire tube of concrete sealant with minimum effort and was shocked when I realized I had emptied the whole tube. I was unaware the technology for caulking guns had improved so much and this one was just a dream to use. The Husky 29 ounce Heavy Duty High-Leverage Caulk Gun is a must own if you do any caulking with 29 ounce tubes.

This is a professional caulking gun, for big jobs that require large 29 oz. size caulk or sealant. Many projects, and especially DIY projects, use 10.1 oz. caulk or sealant, not 29 oz. For professional jobs, using 29 oz. tubes, this is a great tool. The cushioned handle helps prevent hand fatigue. When you want to use the red Dripless button, you need to press it forward and down, not straight down.

This is the best manual caulk gun I've used compared to others. I comes with an adjustable leverage (aka "high force" and "low force". I left it in dripless mode and seemed to work great. With the high force setting it strains my fingers less than the typical manual caulk gun and helps me apply even pressure. I highly recommend this caulk gun, spend the extra money and get this model instead of the cheaper ones.

This caulk gun is 100 times better than my old one. It has tons of useful features that help the average caulk job go so much easier. The high leverage function is the main one, giving you an extra mechanical advantage to push super thick goop out if needed. The spill prevention releases pressure on the tube a little bit to prevent the caulk from coming out after you're done. It also has a poker that can break the seal of a new caulk tube. The only thing it DOESN'T have is something to cut the tip of the tube off like some other caulk guns I've seen. That said, I usually like a more precise cut to open the tube anyway, so I use box cutters. PROS: - High leverage mode really works. Gives a significant mechanical advantage. - Anti-drip switch relieves pressure from the plunger and prevents drips - Built in poker to break seal of new tubes of caulk - Ergonomic handle CONS: - The high leverage mode takes a little getting used to. I tried it with a caulk that really didn't need high leverage for, and it resulted in me needing to pump the gun a lot more (what you gain in leverage, you lose in distance plunged per trigger pull). Overall, I really like this caulk gun. It seems well built and like it will last a while.

The Husky heavy duty caulking gun is designed to hold standard size 10 oz. tube. It switches between 2 settings, a drip and dripless, for the desired application. The red button requires a lot of force to move from one position to another. There is a raised metal high spot the red plastic button needs to overcome, that is why there is a graphic not to use a hammer to move the position of the red button. You can move the red button with a lot of force as the gun get more use that plastic on metal fiction point will be reduced over time to make the transition easier. It also features an adjustable setting of high force to low force, what that changes is the difference in travel of the rod, it is almost twice as much travel in the low setting the plunger travels twice as compared with it in the high setting. So if you need a lot of caulk to fill a large void, the low setting will be delivering more caulk at twice the rate than the high setting. The force setting is about the required force needed to move more caulk, it will take more force to move the plunger twice as far per stroke of the handle. The varying force ratio also helps control the amount of caulk applied per squeeze of the handle. It has a cushion grip trigger for added comfort and a rounded frame to help with cartridge loading and/or removal. The barrel rotates so instead of rotating the whole gun to reach an awkward spot you just rotate the barrel to the correct position to ensure the 45 degree angle cut at the end of the tube is at its optimal angle.

This Husky caulk gun is great, it is adjustable and the head actually turns so that you can follow the joint without having to twist your arm. The quality of this gun speak volumes when comparing this gun next to an older style gun. With the capability of adjusting the pressure I am able to us it for masonry applications and apply and even coverage. I am glad I have this gun.

It would be more practical if young couples starting out were gifted basic DIY painting supplies like a caulk gun instead of yet another crock pot. That way the could have two "King of Drools" when the first baby arrives. Seriously, what separates just another caulk gun from the superior ones is Drool Control. This Husky Caulk Gun has a couple of unique features that I haven't seen before. The first one is the Red Drip/ Dripless Button at the top which affects the position/throw of the spring actuated Release Lever. Press Down on the Front of the Button for Drool-Free operation when using relatively free flowing/low viscosity acrylic and silicone sealants. Press Down on the Back of the Button for use with thick construction adhesives (or when it is really cold) when you DO want a little pressure on the tube to keep things flowing. Nice touch. The other unique feature is the push forward/upward on the trigger handle for low force dispensing. Pull back/Squeeze the lever for regular high force dispensing.

I typically use the cheap caulk guns, so I was excited to grab this and give it a try. The Husky caulk gun is definitely way more heavy-duty than the cheap ones you might have. You can tell right away this was has a higher build quality and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. Even with that, it doesn’t feel any heavier than some of the other caulk guns I have used. Squeezing gives a nice bit pressure and the flow seems pretty steady and smooth. It has a high and low force adjustment, which can come in really handy when doing certain types of caulking jobs. It even has a button that should help stop any excess flow from coming out. Overall, I’m really happy with this and it definitely replaces any others I have in the garage.

This caulking gun by husky was just the tool I needed when doing some repair work in my garage, I’m having a new garage door installed and wanted to fill in some gaps in my driveway and garage area. I love the drip less function on the gun, the extra support on the trigger was nice to and I felt like I had extra control when the sealant was coming out of the tube, the rotating barrel and all the extras on the gun, such as the seal punch out and nozzle made my project so much more Efficient

Husky 10 oz. Heavy-Duty High-Leverage Caulk Gun This heavy-duty caulk gun holds standard size 10 oz. tubes. Features: switch between drip and drip-less for different applications, an adjustable High/Low ratio for controlled amount, a cushion-grip trigger, rotating barrel (awesome feature), and an integrated seal punch/nozzle clean-out tool. The only reason I gave it a 4-Star review is the fact it does not have an integrated caulk tube tip cutter, but with all the other features this is a minor issue. Overall it's easy to use and great add to your tool kit.

Wow! This caulk gun is SO much nicer than any I've ever used in the past. This baby even feels heavier when you pick it up. This one is very solid construction. The squeeze handle has a padded grip and contoured handle shape which will be much easier on the hand for large jobs. There is also a force adjustment available. This caulk gun has a nice balanced feel to it which should help reduce fatigue and keep a steadier hand.

I have been wanting a quality caulking gun for a long time. The Husky heavy duty caulk gun was a great choice for me. I had a project where I need to use construction adhesive to bond some loose paver bricks back down onto the concrete pad just outside the door. The gun hold 10 oz tube securely and there is a cushion grip trigger for my comfort when applying the product. The gun has some cool features, one is for switch between drip to dripless application, I used the Drip setting which kept constant pressure on the tube for easier dispensing. Another great feature was for adjusting the force you need to use for dispensing the product. Depending on the type of product being used, you can change the thrust ratio setting as needed. For my construction adhesive I used the High setting. This new caulk gun made my project an easy one to accomplish.

The Husky Brand, 29 oz. Heavy-Duty High-Leverage Caulk Gun is the “Big Daddy” of calking guns holding and dispensing large 29 oz. cartridges having three times the material capacity of standard 10 oz. cartridges. The Husky heavy duty calking gun is a robust and feature packed hand operated tool for applying calks and sealants. This calking gun features both standard leverage and high leverage hand grip settings for dispensing thick materials or materials with greater resistance to flow. To include settings for dripless application of thin materials and a constant pressure setting for thicker materials providing more even flow and application. And there is a handy cartridge seal punch on the gun handle too. When large capacity, 29-ounce cartridges are available, they will often save time and money over using more of the standard 10-ounce cartridges to perform the same task, particularly when filling large gaps between adjacent surfaces.

Received the Husky Heavy duty caulk gun, I really like the ability of being able to adjust the flow rates from a light flow for more fluid sealers to a regular flow setting. Then there is the capability of a high force setting for those thick caulks that you normally have to really press hard but with this heavy-duty unit it makes the job easier. Also, you can rotate the cartridge holder 360 degrees, so you don’t have to twist your wrist to get those awkward angles. You can adjust it also to how much will come out with slight application when pulling the plunger lever. It even has a punch to open the seal and clean-out tool.

This is a very well made, high quality caulking gun! It has an adjustable trigger, moving from high feed to low feed. The barrel rotates for visibility of product. The plunger and barrel can handle both large and regular size tubes of caulking. There is a self contained metal rod for puncturing the seal on tubes. There is a rubberized grip on the squeeze trigger for a no slip grip. Also a nice spring one way lock on the plunger rod. You won't go wrong with this tool in your home improvement arsenal!

My husband is terrible at caulking! So, when I saw what this caulk gun does, I immediately got it. Unlike most caulk guns, this one is a heavy-duty, high-leverage version, that allows you to switch from drip to drip-less that features an adjustable thrust ratio that controls the amount, providing the user a smoother, consistent line. Thank you, Husky, for a great product!

Husky 29oz heavy duty high leverage caulk gun. This is the big gun for the larger tubes. When you have a big project and you need to apply large amounts of caulk or adhesive, this is what you need. A well made heavy caulk gun that has a lever for drip or no drip feature, which after reading the product information label is quite impressive. Looking at the tool you can plainly see how well made and heavy duty it is!

Truly heavy duty. Has a couple of features that are important, and convenient, to have when working with the 29oz tubes. You can easily switch between drip and dripless, just toggle the red switch on top. The high/low force settings are equally easy to make, just a quick tug or push on the operating lever. The low force setting is for use with thinner materials and in warmer weather, in that setting it takes around 40 full trigger pulls to empty a tube, in the high force position about 65. This feature can be very helpful when dealing with very thick or cold materials such as adhesives or tars. Overall construction is solid and the operation is smooth, the hand grip and trigger are comfortably molded, the trigger has a bit of padding to it, not much, and not sure how long that will last, but that probably doesn't matter in the long run. I expect this tool to last a very long time, even with heavy use.

This caulk gun is 100 times better than any other I have used. For years I have been using the cheap $4.99 caulk guns and I have to say this one is worth every penny. The spill proof feature works great. And being able to switch between low force and high force makes a huge difference when using different thickness caulks.
