Product Overview

The dual-pawl technology on the Husky 100-Position Double Ratcheting SAE/MM Wrench Set provides access to engage fasteners where other wrenches can't with its ultra-narrow, 3.6° arch swing box-end. Its 10% longer beam provides increased reach for accessing hard-to-reach fasteners and improves overall leverage. The innovative open-end ratcheting design improves the speed of ratcheting and allows access of an open-end without ever removing the wrench from the fastener.
  • Large size markings offer easy identification
  • Box end needs just 3.6° swing to turn a fastener
  • Open end also ratchets to quickly remove fasteners where box ends cannot reach
  • Alloy steel construction provides durability and long-lasting performance
  • Universal box-end fits 6-point, 12-point, square, E-Torx, spline and partially rounded hex fasteners
  • Industrial black finish stands up to a lifetime of use
  • 0° offset box-end allows for maximum clearance in tight spaces
  • Open-end allows the wrench to be slid into position from the side of the fastener
  • Box-end provides additional leverage and less likelihood of slipping when used on hard-to-remove fasteners
  • Package doubles as a storage rack to keep your wrenches organized and in 1 place
  • Meets or exceeds ANSI standards
  • Set includes 12 combination wrenches covering sizes: 3/8 in., 5/16 in., 7/16 in., 1/2 in., 9/16 in., 5/8 in. and 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm

Ordering one ratchet?

Asked by Ace September 6, 2020

Yes 14mm is a great wrench to have.

why isn't there an 11mm in the set? that's the one I need most.

Asked by dp045 December 22, 2019

Buy the SAE set and use the 7/16". You'll also get a 5/8", which will double as a 16mm.

The rachet in my 1/2" wrench in this set is stuck and won't turn in either direction. Once in a w...

Asked by Dave November 20, 2019

It sounds like the bearing is struck. I would try some WD-40 on it and if that doesn’t work I’d return it for a new one. I apologize mine have never done that.

Does husky make a 3/4 double ratchet

Asked by Shack October 2, 2019

It's very good.

are they made in 1", 11/8,1 1/4?

Asked by Buzz July 25, 2019

Hey Buzz, This style does not have any open stock, we only have the sizes that are included in the sets. Thanks!

Can I buy any of these individually because I noticed some important sizes are missing like 3/4 and quarter inch

Asked by Dro December 12, 2018

search for double ratcheting wrench 3/4"

I need this wrench in 7/8, I asked an associate in the store and they looked it up. Does a 7/8 version exist?

Asked by Jf December 5, 2018

Search Home Depot for double ratcheting wrench 7/8" and it will show up.

How much torque can be applied to these wrenches? Wondering if the open end is as strong as a non ratcheting style.

Asked by Jaydizzle November 26, 2018

I never apply much torque with any kind of ratcheting wrench. I first break the bolt loose (or do the final tightening) with a fixed wrench, just as I use a breaker bar instead of a ratcheting handle with socket wrenches.

Does it have a case

Asked by Tony November 26, 2018

Not a box case. Look at the pics.

Ordered online for delivery to home. 9/16 wrench was missing from set. I've tried calling twice, on hold for over an hour total, all automated, no human interaction. No option to even start return online or report damage, just a direction to call number. This was to be a fathers day present, first time ordering delivery to home and it WILL BE THE LAST! Will be taking my money to the competition for all future online orders.

Nicely Designed Set
Very well design metric wrench set. The set is finished in an industrial black with laser etching for easy identification of the wrenches size 8, 10, 12, 13, 14 & 15. The set comes with a nice carriing / storage kit. The universal design will fit six (6) different type of fastness. Including E-torn, square, spline, six and twelve point bolts as well as some partially rounded ones. I love the ratchiting box end. Fits where sockets won't. The open end needs a hair more room to ratchet but works just as well. Not sure how I've lived this long without this tool at my disposable. Highly recommended this tool to the professional as well as the DIYer.

Good wrench, but initial quality issue.
I got these online and shipped to my house. I had some chips in the finish of the wrenches right out of the box. Not sure if it is a manufacturing issue or they got damaged during shipping. But if they would chip, how good is the finish anyway? The ratcheting action on these wrenches is very tight allowing you to get to the next tooth without much movement. Perfect for tight spaces where you don't have a lot of throw to move wrenches around. Functionally great wrenches. But wrench finish issues keep this from being a five star product.

Quality wrenches, nice fit in the hand, great racheting function
These are nice wrenches. The handles are thinner than your typical wrench, and surprisingly comfortable. I have been quite satisfied with the ratcheting function, on both ends of the wrench. The open end naturally requires a larger arc to swing and re-engage the head of the fastener, but the closed end does not require much space, allowing for use in tight swing applications. I have used closed end ratcheting wrenches before, but never an open end wrench. I really like the way these wrenches work. The ratcheting function is very good and the wrenches feel very good in the hand. I am curious to see how long the ratchet function lasts on both ends, but as they are "Guaranteed Forever" in true Husky form, it's hard to see a downside.

Innovative design
This review is for the Husky 100-Position Double Ratcheting Wrench Set, Metric (6-Pieces). The set includes wrenches in sizes 8, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15. The boxed end of each wrench contains a 100 position ratcheting system (3.6 degrees per click) that supports 6-point, 12-point, square, E-Torx, spine and partially rounded hex fasteners. The open end of the wrench also includes a ratcheting design which I have not seen in other wrenches previously. I find this feature very convenient for quickly tightening fasteners. The size markings are laser etched. Unfortunately on my set the paint was not applied evenly on all wrenches with some bare spots and the metal was pitted. The wrenches engaged fasteners well and the ratcheting mechanisms worked very well. There are no directional levers on the ratcheting mechanisms as they only function in one direction. To change directions you flip over the wrench.

Great For Tight Spaces
Rather than the standard chrome finish of most wrenches these are finished in some kind of black coating. The finish on a couple of the wrenches was damaged, probably during shipping. They were loose in the shipping box when I opened it. I am not sure this finish would be as durable as the chrome like finish of most wrenches. These ratcheting wrenches are a great supplement to your collection of standard combinations wrenches as they allow you to tighten and loosen nuts/bolts in tight/difficult to reach places. According to the manufacturer they have a universal design that fits 6-point, 12-point, square, E-Torx, spine and partially rounded hex fasteners. This makes them more flexible in their use. The slim design of the wrenches makes them less comfortable in your hands when exerting a lot of force to loosen or tighten nuts/bolts.
