How do I get a replacement Replacement Hose?

How can I go about getting a replacement hose for this inflator. Mine is about 18 months old and it leaks.

Would duct tape over the whole work?

can this be charged indoors and then unplug it and use it outside to inflate my car tires?

Asked by: wahoo
No needs to be plugged in to use. Use an orange outdoor extension cord. I did.

Is air hose included

Asked by: Mike
yes, the air hose is attached and is about 2ft long. In the picture you see it coming out of the inflator on the right side and wrapping around the base. I'll admit they did not show that very well. The end of it has a nozzle that clamps onto the valve on car or bike tires (Schraeder valve style).

Inflating RV tires

I have tried several pumps that die when trying to put 100 psi in an RV tire even though recommended for 150 psi. Will this do the job?
Asked by: Steve
I highly doubt you will get this "inflator" to reach 100psi, let alone 150. Fuhgedaboudit.

120-Volt Inflator is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 527.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Inflator but leaky hose Used Inflator for a year to top up air pressure in car and bicycle tires. Fabric coveredrubber hose started to leak due to tear close to end attached to pump. Replacement hose not available. Pulled off the hose andclean cut abit of the hose beyond the tear with a sharp utility knife. Reinserted new end to pump outlet. Works ok now. Have to be careful while rolling the hose around pump for storage.

I've had other inflators and they were horrible but this one not only inflates bike tires and various balls quickly and somewhat quietly but I've even inflated car tires with it when I was in a pinch (before I got my air compressor - that's different review). And the gauge which I would have never thought would work is dead on balls accurate. I give it a thumbs up

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hose breaks at joint My hose broke after a few months. I believe it was because of the way the hose is bent for storage. It broke right at the inlet which has a lot of pressure applied to it in order to bend the hose into storage tracks (it wraps around the compressor). You can see this bend in the product photo. I can't find replacement part for this either. Waste of money. Buy something with a replaceable hose or you may end up with a nice little compressor that can't do anything for you!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not durable - lasted 14 months Ok - looked good at first, but don't expect much more than 14 months of use before it self destructs. Used periodically to top up car tires and inflate pool inflatable. Started to leak at the hose. Now unusable. I expected to last longer!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Little powerhouse that leaks Worked great for a short while and then it started leaking from the hose. This is a weak point that needs to be addressed for future 5 star ratings. I returned it for a refund.

Rather than take it off and drive someplace to get it properly inflated, I looked for either a manual or electric inflator. I looked at many products that were quite expensive considering I would only need the inflator occasionally. The Husky 120volt inflator seemed to meet my expectations - and - the price was right. The gage shows psi in 10 pound increments and it is a "plug & play" model. Just plug the output hose onto the tire, plug the inflator into a 120 volt plug and press the button "on" side. When the tire meets the psi, just press the "off" side. It's easy to use and takes up just a little shelf space....and it's inexpensive.

It is MUCH quieter than my last inflator and the pressure gauge appears to be (reasonably) correct. I thought the "glow in the dark" face on the pressure gauge would be a gimmick but it has really come in handy! It pumps up tires quickly and quietly and takes up very little space. See attached photo for size. It has a sturdy grab handle so i hang it on the wall in my garage by the handle. Great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Inflator I have been using an inflator that plugs into my car's cigarette lighter for several years. It worked okay but it took forever to inflate even something as small as a bike tire. I also have a big compressor but it takes too long to set-up and put away for small jobs. The Husky 120 volt Inflator is just the right size for 90% of my projects. It is small enough to store and move, but it is powerful enough to fill a tire very quickly. The power cord is too short to reach my electrical outlet on the wall so I need to use an extension cord most of the time. I don't mind the short cord since it minimizes the space when I store it.
