purchased pump well over 15 years ago, it is a good "home owner tool" for the occasional bicycle tires, balls, and the once in a while flat car tire it is excellent. Definitely not a tool for a shop or everyday use. My hose broke today and was hoping to find the replacement but it is not available. for those that give a poor rating..... come on you are buying a $25 dollar tool and expected to last for ever??? really?? I suggest you buy Snap on tools.

It’s a bad design - will return it
The hose mounting on the compressor has a metal shroud that prevents you from using a simple hose clamp to fasten a replacement hose in place. And yes, it’s a frustrating short junky air hose on this compressor. Maybe that’s why it’s so cheap.

      DO NOT BUY -Hose breaks
Had bought 2 of these Husky pumps, and both have failed with the same issue: hose breaks at connector / outlet on pump. Poor design? Poor quality? Dunno! After 1st hose broke, was even more careful. Nope! Still broke

        Design flaw: the hose breaks
Check all the low rating reviews: The hose breaks. Light use, no abuse, it breaks. **IT IS DESIGNED TO BREAK**. And no replacement part. This is unacceptable. Thanks to Stephen's review (see picture), I managed to fix it with a zip tie, try it too!

          Don't expect it to last
As stated in other reviews, the inflator hose will fail prematurely and they do not offer a replacement. Try another brand. Other cond Pumps very slow as well. Gauge condensates so you cannot read the gauge.

            Great Little Emergency Inflator
I don’t normally write reviews, but there’s many reviews saying the hose will break and cannot be replaced. I want to correct this. Yes, the hose will break (all hoses do) and yes, it can be replaced. It took less than 5 minutes to cut off the original metal clamp, trim the hose, and clamp it back on with a small hose clamp. This is a great little pump. I can plug it into a cigarette lighter invertor and, with a short extension cord, I can inflate my tires from the running truck in the back country or in my apartment parking lot. It is a bit slow, but it’s far better than being stranded or scrounging for quarters for the gas station... and there’s no need to make sure it’s properly charged becore heading out into the backcountry. I’ve used this inflator for over 5 years and expect to be using it for many more.

              works well, convenient, durable.
But the inflator hose can fail. Fix it by peeling off the crimp (I used wire cutters and pliers) and reattaching with a hose clamp. One can also buy inflator hoses if necessary.
