you question leads me to the screw driver slot. There is a coin like screw driver that fits in the slot on the side of the handle. The paint roller cleaner is the half circle on the right side of the tool, not on the handle.

My personal experience is yes. I usually score it with a utility blade first then use the tool. Make sure it’s clean and not damaged and slanted part facing down. I have this type of tool in almost every bag I have.

The 'flat head' drivers also fit in 'phillips heads'. They work, but I wouldn't want to use them all day!

Here is my count- 1 - Hammer End 2 - Scraper straight 3 - Scraper concave. 4 - Roller Cleaner 5,6,7,8 - Screw drivers, different types/sizes 3/16,1/4,5/16,3/8, 9 spreader / putty knife 10 bottle opener 11 crack opener 12 - paint can opener 13 - nail puller 14,15 nut wrench two sizes. 3/8, 1/2 Keep in mind a bit of this is marketing, not sure I would count a scraper and spreader as different tools. Irrespective of how you count or what you count, it is a great tool to have when painting, it has saved me lots of trips back to the garage or climbing down the ladder. I am a DIY so I often have to make several trips because I am not prepared like a professional that does it everyday would be. Just so easy to fit in my side pocket and keep with me.

I wish I would have had this when I was painting the inside of my house. Now I'm painting my garage and i wanted to make clean up easier. The paint roller scrape function is amazing. It makes clean up so much faster! I recommend it to everyone who paints with a roller.

So, seems there are many if you out there that can’t seem to figure out the 15 functions this product advertises that it does. I’m here to help you! I’ve circled the 15 functions, and numbered them as well. Take a look, they are all there! This is a little more ridgid than one would like. And yes, half the functions are a joke. No one would ise this as a screwdriver, unless its all you had in a pinch. Shoot, I’m sure they have better homemade tools in a prison...

Husky 15 in one paint tool. This is a heavy-duty Lifetime warrantied or guaranteed tool by Husky and Home Depot. That makes the tool worthy of a second look. The blade has a nice finished edge and has a protective coating on all sides. The handle has a nice solid hammer end for closing cans or setting nails. Overall a very good heavy duty dependable tool. The handle is a soft rubber type and makes for a good comfortable handle for all day use. After several hours of use the hammer handle end in was in great shape with little more than faint scratches. This item replaces the 14 in one paint tool. The 14 in 1 had two ¼” drive screwdriver bits stored in the handle. The bits could be used in the end of the handle and contained a straight blade and Phillip bit. But the bits were easily lost during use. This newest model has a pretty ingenious way of storing four straight blade screwdriver tips in the inside of the handle. The tips are like the old key chain type used in yesteryears. However, I think the this was not much of an improvement and since the blades are on a flat piece of metal that does not lend itself to much use as there is little leverage with the insert just a little larger than a quarter coin. I think it would have been beneficial to have had a larger wrench opening of 5/8” that would fit most spray rig hoses.

The 15 in 1 painters tool is incredible. Not only for painters though. I have discovered so many uses, opening paint cans, using as a wrench two sizes to choose from . It can pull out nails, scrape paint, spread spackle, It can also score drywall with ease. I have found this tool to be indespensible. I am finding more uses all the time. My toolbox is now complete. Great tool

"Ask not what this tool can do for you - ask what all you can do with this tool!" This is the best multi-purpose helper that every handyperson should have when doing the most tedious task in the world: painting. It simply resolves nearly every interruption that you will encounter AND it can be used to help clean paint rollers when you are finished. It's a scraper for both concave and straight surfaces and can also be used to open cracks for Spackling or caulk - then for smoothing it out, has two cutouts for large and small hex nuts found on paint sprayers, a nail puller, paint can opener and the blunt metal end on this tools handle can be used like a hammer to pound the lid back on the can. Also included (in a slot on the side of the handle) is a round, multi-bit screwdriver for removing, for example, a missed receptacle cover plate. But the most important feature is the bottle opener! That allows me to enjoy a "cold snack" while admiring my finished job.

I am use to my 5 in 1 tool that I have used for 20 years. I thought I would give this one a try and see if the extra functions were useful. For the most part they are. The nail puller, nut wrenches and screw driver tools will never replace dedicated tools, but I am finding them useful for light duty work. It beats carrying extra tools “just in case” and has saved me a couple of trips back to my tool chest. The tool has good rigidity and a comfortable handle. The 4 way screwdriver tool is securely held in the handle. And I can use the hammer end on the handle because the handle is big enough for my glove size large hand. This painter’s tool is 3/4” wider and 2” longer than my old tool. It gives me more leverage when cleaning out cracks, but isn’t so big that it has given me any issues getting into corners or other tight spaces. It is proving to be a nice replacement.

So, I had an older version of this tool that I thought was pretty good. Turns out the one I had couldn’t compare to this one. This tool is very sturdy and can do it all. Open cans, scrape rollers, pull nails out, function as a putty knife, and more. Did I mention it was very sturdy? Let me say so again. This tool is very, very well-built and is much thicker and higher quality than the old tool that I had. If you are going to prep walls for painting and then paint, you really should have this tool.
