can you put a lock on this bag?
Yes, you can. there are two zippers from both sides.
No, you can not put a lock on this bag.
There is a very small circular hole on the end of each zipper tab. I guess you could put a lock through those and lock the bag. Would have to be the size that would be used to lock a backpack or luggage.

how much weight can this bag hold in tools.
well over fifty pounds if you're using the handles.
I don't know the exact weight that it will hold, but I have my Worx rotary hand saw and other tools in the bag and it still could hold more. Plus I have additional things in the side pockets. This bag is made of very durable material so there is no stress on the bag or handles.

If you could pack it with wrenches, It is big enough to lift it- probably 150 lbs! However, I am strongly against it for many (unlisted) reasons...it has plenty of room to get yourself in trouble!
