Since the drawers are removable, I think it would be relatively easy to install wheels. It would be awkward to push it around, given the lack of height on the chest.
This question has been answered 3 times in the question and answer area. The unit includes 3 large and 2 small drawers. There is also the "lift up top." The 2 small drawers have a depth of 14", a width of 10 ⅝" and a height of 1 ¼". There is also a clearance of 1 ⅞" from the bottom of the drawer to the top. The 3 large drawers have a depth of 14", a width of 22 ⅝" and a height of 2 ⅜". There is also a clearance of 3 ¾" from the bottom of the drawer to the to the next drawer which would allow you to place items up to this height
Not sure of what you are thinking of when you say a compatible tool stand, but Home Depot does offer a matching tool box chest for the item you pictured. It is a Husky tool chest, Model# UAT-H-26051. I have both pieces and they look great and are built well. See attached pic.
No, this chest is not water proof. It will keep most of the rain off your tools. But it has drawers and does not have a front cover. A blowing rain would let moisture in
yes, absolutely. (small 1-2 ledge remains (for balance probably))
Not sure why Home Depot is forcing me to answer this question in order to post my review of the toolbox. Seems like a question they should answer themselves instead of forcing other customers to answer for them. Although, after talking to many of their associates in the stores, you’re probably better off not wasting your time with them anyway. Maybe try to get in touch with Husky directly??
No, it does not come in silver.
