The Husky SAE hex bit socket set is a great addition to any tool box or socket collection. This set comes equipped with 3/8 in. drive bit sockets allowing you to tackle wide a range of projects. Bit sockets give you the advantage of accessing fasteners with the reach and tight arc swing of a ratchet that standard folding or L-keys just can't match.

Set includes (7) 3/8 in. drive hex bit sockets: SAE - 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 in.

A: I have not use them with an impact drill. I wouldn't use them in this manner.

A: If your using a 3/8 th drive pneumatic impact driver or a 18 volt impact driver your good. I wouldn’t use a 1/2 driver.

A: Chopstopher, No these are not designed to be used on an impact drill or gun. A good way to quickly tell if an item is designed to handle the rigors of impact use is to look at the finish. Items that have the full polished chrome finish are generally not intended for use on an impact drill or gun. We do offer 3 sets of impact-rated hex bit sockets, 7pc SAE: 1001381274, 7pc Metric:1001381275, and 7pc Torx:1005000054. These 3 sets are made of professional grade Chrome Molybdenum Alloy Steel (Cr-Mo) for strength under the pressures of impact use.

Sizes not accurate

Quality looks good but the Bit size isn’t accurate as you can see on picture One is big and the next one is small can’t use neither one on this bolt Don’t recommend this product

All of our bits meet strict ANSI specs for sizing, if it is in between two sizes then the fastener is most likely a SAE sized fastener. A 1/4" hex bit socket would be in between 6mm and 7mm.

Torx head fasteners are becoming more common and sooner or later you'll run across them. This is a complete set of 8 of the most common sizes. It's a have-to for your tool collection. It's a high quality, tight fitting set that has a patented bit holding principle that features an internal dimple that forces the bit surface to the opposite side for maximum retention. This set will last. It comes with a nice holder to keep them organized too. Each size is clearly marked on each socket.
