Quiet but Wobbles
it's a pretty good unit, I gave it four stars because of the price. but I do like it overall. It has two outlets. but the drain valve is facing the back side and the unit does not sit flat - about a 3/8" discrepancy. Was packed well.

my 30 something year old craftsman 20 gal w/3.5 hp compressor died and in need of a quick replacement as middle of painting garage. it just keeps up with the paint gun/canister, and just about time can use a break on the arms, let it catch up for a better spray. nicer part of this over my old one is easier to move around being upright and taller, like a hand truck vs more horizontal and handle not quite long enough causing hit legs moving it around.

At this time 7 days passed since I turned it on for the first time and filled the tank up to 175 psi it took about 9 minutes to fill and its been 7 days and lost only one pound of pressure. It had a burnt smell when ran at first but thats from being new. I don't like how it sounds but I think its just needs break in and it will be great. The black husky compressor is better than the red ones anytime. I don't like the plain gauges I would prefer the 5 colors ones. I have this compressor for 7 days , I replaced the 26 gallon husky for this one and it meets my expectations. I like that it has longer run time. I like that it have to connector for two air hoses .

Good compressor to Me!
I had a "RED" compressor, that last me almost 20 years. LONG time for a "No Oil" compressor. I'm a tradesmen. I, more and more, have been experimenting with HD products. Last week, my trusty "RED" unit blew a pin hole leak...so out it went. To dangerous to weld! After doing my research..I thought, why not give this unit a try. Well, so far, so good! Pros...I love that it comes all put together! Pull it from the box and plug it in. I love that the power source cord is HEAVY gauge. Less draw when it starts up, or cycles. I love that it has 2 tap in's...so you can run 2 lines at the same time! Home Depot also has these nice quick release connectors, on this compressor, that work very well. I debated buying other brands, but for the money, features, and warranty, I really like this compressor unit. To me, it's pretty ROCK solid. Not too bulky, and certainly exceeds my needs! No regrets buying this unit. Very happy with my purchase, so far! Cons..which it had beefier wheels, though the ones on it are okay. My concern, if I do side gigs, I'm concerned they might not last. Takes awhile to fill, when it first starts..about 9 to 10 minutes. However, once it's filled, the cycle runs maybe 2-3 minutes to refill. Based on tank size...it holds air for sometime! Buy this unit... Best guess for many, you'll be happy with it!! :)

I read the good and bad reviews and decided to buy this compressor anyway because it's the best deal for a compressor this size. Like some of the other reviewers, I found that it was a solid and well built compressor except for the cheap toy like wheels. Despite that, I still thought it was a good deal until I turned it on. Day 1: It ran for about 30 minutes before it finally shut off at 170psi, it was definitely louder than I expected but I didn't mind because I let it run while I took care of other chores around the house. Day 2: I let it sit overnight and came back the next morning to see that the tank had only 35psi. so it's definitely a leaker. I turned it back on and let it run for another 25 minutes before it finally shut off then I went out for a quick errand to pick up supplies and when I returned 2 hours later, it was down to about 80psi. I have yet to use it because I'm sitting here writing this review while I wait (again) for it to finish bringing itself back up to operating pressure. Day 3: It has been running for over an hour and a half and the tank gauge is nudging towards 185psi. I don't know if it'll stop before it blows the pump or the tank and only hope it will at least be able to do the job that I bought it for. I thought of replacing the flimsy hose clamps, but I don't want to modify a brand new compressor that doesn't work as advertised. I gave it low marks for Quality and Value because it's not a good quality or value compressor if it can't hold air. I think this one's going back to the store...

Bought the Husky 30 Gal.175 PSI compressor two weeks ago, not a single issue with it right out of the box!! It comes fully assembled, read the one page start up sheet, plugged it in, did all the checks and turned it on! It is very quiet when it runs, the tank filled up and I didn't have any air leaks from any of the connections or anything, filled up several tires that were a little low, let the compressor fill back up and sit for a few days to find it was still holding all its pressure!
I love having the two hose connections, I set one up for a 3/8" hose and left the other for 1/4" hose, as others have commented you get a plastic kind of smell when you first run it but that seems to be going away! Bought this to help run several different air tools to help with the restoration of a 1955 Chevy I am working on!

All in all, the Compressor works as it should. Not too noisy at all. But, it takes an extended amount of time to build pressure until it cuts itself off. Never have I seen it actually build to 175#'s to the gauge on the compressor. Air pressure to the tool side (nothing connected) only reaches 150#'s.
The picture I provided shows the pressure that it cut off at. 168#'s. Unless the gauge is faulty, it never gets to 175#'s. Sometimes it doesn't get to 160#'s before it automatically shuts off.
