Hey Cb54, That all depends on how deep the race is on a spindle and how wide the race is. Provided the Husky 4-ton 2-jaw puller will fit over the bearing race and have somewhere for the screw to push off it should have no issues. Thanks!
Hey Bob, I don't think you will be able to get the puller on the wheel to pull it off. Your best bet would be to use a penetrating oil and a big soft face deadblow hammer to try and break the wheel free. Thanks!

Hey Mayohog, It will depending on how big the pinion is and why it is stuck. This puller has a spread of 4 inches and a depth of 3-3/4 inches. If the pinion is stuck due to damaged splines you may need more than a 4 ton puller. Thanks!
The end of the jaw is tapered. I think it will be close but with 3/8 of an inch you should be fine. The has end is thicker thanI would like. I used it to get a bearing off and it was a tight fit. I believed I had less than 3/8 inch to work with.

compression ring on a piston no. plus it has a hardened steel nub an the screw that would damage a piston top which you definitely dont want. a dedicated tool is made for removing and installing piston and compression rings
It might, but you need more than 3/8 of an inch space at the back of the pulley since the jaw tooth is thick..
