The 1.2 in. thick, solid wood top is rugged and beautiful and there is plenty of space on the 46 in. W x 24 in. D work surface. The workbench can be assembled with either the four, 3 in. x 2 in. polypropylene casters for mobility or attach the 4 leveling feet for use as a stationary table or desk. This work table has plenty of uses around the home, office, hobby room or garage. It is designed with a 300 lb. load capacity and an overhang so that you can easily attach your vise grips or cl-Amps while working on a project. This 46 in. Husky Work Table's contemporary, adjustable-height feature allows you to have the flexibility to sit or stand while working. Research suggests that there are health benefits to alternating between standing and sitting throughout the day because it both decreases body discomfort and increases blood flow. The ergonomic design could also reduce eye and back strain and boost your productivity. The crossbar support can be installed in 2 different locations, depending on your preference. 100 lbs. of GARBAGE
After lugging this thing home from the store and spending hours trying to assemble it, I sent it back. I have no clue where all these great reviews are coming from. Yes, the thing weighs a ton, but it's nearly impossible to assemble. That metal beam that goes between the legs? It's too wide. I had to unscrew the legs to lean them outward to squeeze it in, scratching the table in the process. Then the crank wouldn't turn for anything. Home Depot was completely useless.

Awesome workbench!!
This is a great workbench for my garage. It is a very solid and well made workbench. The wood top is solid wood that I was able to bolt my Wilton Tradesman vise to. The legs and drawers are metal that feel very sturdy when moving the workbench around. I would defiantly opt for the model with the drawers. They are very large and you can fit quite a bit of tools in them. The adjustable height is a nice feature, although I don't adjust mine too often. I would highly recommend this workbench.

Excellent purchase!
This table is a solid work bench! Took me about 1 hour to assemble in my own. Follow direction and don’t tighten until later. Holes for assemble right in center. Drawers are a must (rubber liner extra). Crank is solid. Husky logo on edge is the front as the crank is also on the front (Very important)! I am doing a reno on my kitchen and this WILL be my work station. Very happy buyer!

an extremely frustrating assembly experience
Pay attention to the assembly issue complaints in the review section. I was expecting trouble, and it definitely showed up. Quality control on this bench sucks. I bought it to serve as a gaming desk, so I have no complaint about the 300 lb. load limit. The assembly instructions made it seem like a snap to put together, but reality was quite different. The most glaring issue was the support bar being about an inch short! Perhaps that was due to the misplacement of the leg mounting holes. Yes, the support bar was optional, but my stubbornness meant getting some spacers from my work bench, and a trip to the local Tractor Supply to pick up 4 replacement bots to make up the needed length. I went to YouTube and caught an assembly video for help. The most helpful part of that video was in the comment section, where I got excellent suggestions on how to install the rod that was needed to enable cranking mechanism to work. The included instructions did NOT help with that. Do I like the final assembled product. Yes. I just can't recommend it as a purchase due to the quality control issues.

The support rail is not too short. It is designed this way for more stability. The rail cannot be installed unless the legs are left loose until the final step. If the directions are followed, exactly, there will be no issues with the support rail.

Very sturdy and well made workbench.
We got this for my Parent's new house so he could have a work bench and some storage for tools without having to buy a whole toolbox. The drawers are not very deep, but wrenches, pliers, hammers and regular sockets all clear. Deep sockets will need to be set on their side. I also recommend getting the roll of drawer liner before putting tools in to protect the drawer and stops the tools from moving around. The work bench is very well made and sturdy. We got the 46in one to save on space, but the 52 in one would work very nice. The height adjustment handle could use some improvement to help it feel like its locked in and not going to come off in your hand.

Great design. Terrible build process
Who ever designed this should be required to build one of these things. Wholes don’t line up, and you have parts built to where you can’t even line a screw driver up to the whole.
