Good Level, Some QC Issues

This is a nice level for home projects or on the job. It's put together well and the finish is even and attractive. There are no sharp edges, no burrs and the top and bottom edges are aluminum and appear to be perfectly flat and straight. It's exactly 48" long...so this is for larger jobs.
This level has 3 bubbles, horizontal in the middle and vertically oriented bubbles on each end. The bubbles are solidly in place and don't move or wobble at all. The bubbles are covered with plastic so durability could be an issue. The markings on the bubbles are clear and easy to read. The level is also very sturdy...I placed it (like a bridge) between two workbenches and pushed hard with a considerable amount of pressure right in the middle and it didn't deflect or bend as far as I could tell.
There are hand-holds conveniently placed near each end of the level.
The only issue with this level is a large scratch on the top edge that runs almost the entire length of the level. It doesn't seem to affect the function and is purely cosmetic. Also, there's a crack in the plastic covering over one of the end bubbles. Again, cosmetic only and doesn't affect function. It seems the factory would want to pay a bit more attention to the appearance of the items they're shipping out. But, that's a pretty minor complaint.
Overall it's a sturdy, good quality level and I have no problem recommended this brand, size and model.
Nice Level

This a a great level. I used it right away on building my new stairs down from our exsisting deck for an animal run area. It is very well balanced and a nice light weight. It is accurate as I checked it with my 24" to make sure it was not upset in shipping. The rubber pads on the ends make it non-skid when setting it agains the wall. The only drawback that I found is it is made in China but I DO RECOMMEND this level to all DIYs !!
