This digital protractor was a great investment for our business. It measures our stone pieces accurately and holds up very well in the wet environment that we work in. We are pleased with the outcome and definitely recommend this to other production businesses as it exceeds expectations!

Accurate and well designed
I cannot fault anything about this precision measuring tool! It displays angles to one tenth of a degree and claims an accuracy of 0.3 degrees or less. I found the reading was almost always exact for objects where I knew the angle (a precision machinists 123 block, and a quality triangular "square"). It is accurate enough for any woodworking task and most machinist tasks I am likely to try (OK, not tapers, but there are easy alternatives available). The ergonomics are good too, the protractor is easy to zero. Best of all there is no power off button. My digital calipers have an on/off button and I often forget to turn them off and run down the battery. This unit powers down after a few minutes. It also has just the right amount of smooth friction so it is easy to pull the unit against the two surfaces being measured. A few minutes practice and I was getting accurate and repeatable measurements.

Accurate Digital Protractor
Husky 5 in. Digital Protractor is something I've always done without and used less ideal ways to measure angles. This is a substantial tool with a Stainless Steel ruler and is not a skimpy plastic one. This one is much easier to use and far more accurate than student plastic protractors to measure angles I've been using. Its battery operated that gives a digital LCD readout for the angle. It uses a CR2032 battery that's pretty common, should last for years. The battery fits in a slot under the digital readout screen and be carefully the tray looks fragile. It has a locking knob on the end to hold the angle to duplicate it or later check your work. Its four inch smaller size allows you to get into places longer one's won't fit. Since its digital it can calculate the opposite angle by pressing a button. Its no big deal, but why not its nice to have. The display has a zero button to true up the tool or reset it as you are using it. I used it first to check my other tools for accuracy, it passed muster. Its far more accurate than I need for woodworking, but I really like how easy it is to use. Would have liked if it came with a case or soft cover to store away in my toolbox. Its a good protractor and the way its built should last in the shop for a long time.

Inexpensive, yet accurate.
I had originally purchased the General Tools 5" angle finder and it was junk from the get go. Angles were not accurate, readings jumping all over the place and the unit would never shut off. Took it back and went with the identical product from Husky, mainly due to the lifetime warranty. Checked with my framing square and some smaller machinist squares and it was right on the money. Readings were quick and steady and the unit shutoff within 5 minutes of non use. If I ever have a problem with it, Home Depot will replace it for free, no questions asked. With a lifetime warranty, I can't see going with another brand.

You can find any angle... acute, right, or obtuse!
The Husky 5'' digital protractor, protracts. The digital computer on the unit allows you to turn it on, zero out the angle measurements and reverse the angle measurements from inside angle to outside angle. The rules are solid and not flimsy. Measurements on the rulers are in inches on one side of each ruler and mm on the other side. The protractor can also be locked into a measurement by tightening down the lock. Measurements have been accurate when compared to a traditional protractor measuring the same angle. While i am typically hesitant to adopt old world tools with plastic battery operated computers attached to them, this one proved me wrong. I would recommend this product.

Accurate & Handy
This digital angle finder is pretty handy. I have used it to measure the angle odd ceiling and joints in order to properly cut moldings. The device needs to be zeroed on a true flat surface or a true square. Knowing the angle of a strange joint really helps to tune in the mitre saw quickly to get a perfect fit. Its also good to check if the corners in your room are actually true and square. Often they're not! Tested against my engineer's square, I got a reading of 89.9deg. Even better than the 0.3deg accuracy stated in the description! This device is accurate, handy, and I would definitely recommend it!

Cheap, fairly accurate fits in your pocket.
I wish it didn't require a hearing aid type battery and I wish it did not go to sleep by itself and lose your measurement unless you hurry, but it is convenient.
